Anyone ever heard of Andrew Collins?

I ask because he's the guest speaker at the cardigan club (English with Creative Writing "society (not officially a society really)) and I've never heard of him.

He's one of these.

I've heard of Andrew Collinge. He makes hair straighteners and things like that.

What do you mean that's not helpful?

ex music journo, eastenders script writer and sitcom script writer, and DJ on six music. Nothing that he's done has ever left me bowled over, but I s'pose with a CV like that he must know his onions.

Name rings a bell - think he worked at the Radio Times a few years back as editor.

He's this one.

According to that, he didn't just study graphic design, he studied epic graphic design.

He makes me sad when he's in for Mark Kermode.

It does. I remember getting quite angry because he slated a film I love. Can't remember what it was though.

He does a great podcast with Richard Herring. Just the two of them, pissing about. And Herring calls Collins's mum a strawberry floating idiot from time to time.
