Can you imagine Ad7 going to Cash Converters? He would become the thing he hates.

Seems game are doing an extra pounds per game and extra tenner per console, so I'm going to take it all and a bag full of games there first thing (while the scum are still sleeping off their super brew hangovers). That'll give me time to wander around if need be and I can always go to the nearby cex with the ipad etc.

I traded in my original 60GB PS3 for a 320GB slim model (quite) a few years back. After spending time with the hairdryer getting it working (mainly so I could get my stuff off of it and partially because I hoped it would then work long enough to fool them), they didn't even test the damn thing and just took it in part exchange.

My original shape PS2 had the widespread disc read error. Took it to Game and they just powered it on to test it. Couldn't believe I managed that.

Last I knew GAME will limit how many games you can trade in at once, I believe as an anti-fencing kind of thing and not wanting to buy stolen goods.

CEX is made on questionably sourced stock though so I'm sure they'd take a full stack of games even if they had still wet blood all over them.

When I moved to Japan I took a couple of hundred dvds into CEX and they said nothing about the amount I was bringing in.

I think it's 'up to ten of any one title'. So pretty much anything. Managers discretion, obvs.

I remember going into Cex once with a couple of bags of Blu-rays and DVDs, I think something like 130 titles. Person waiting behind me complained a lot.

I traded in a GameCube that only booted games maybe one in five times you switched it on. They tested it and it didn't boot the game, then they tried it again with another disc and it worked so they took it. You'd think the fact I was part-exing it for a new GameCube might have made them suspicious but no.

Just got back from selling everything. Sold the electronics and some games game wouldn't take at cex, then the games at GAME.

Total of £485.60 in cash :datass:

Cex did a bank transfer, but I'm not convinced it's all going to go through OK so I'll be keeping an eye on that.

But yeah, not bad for some stuff lying around in the loft :toot:
