Bumping this because it's probably not worth creating a thread for, but I've just seen this 3D printer on Kickstarter. Early-bird price is £260. Seems like a bargain, if anyone is thinking of getting one.

I like the idea of having a 3D printer, just seems really futuristic and nerdy. Not a clue what I'd use one for, though.

I'm not sure buying a 3D printer that will likely get here late summer will make much of a dent.

Im interested in a photon or elegoo resin printer as they are better for mini stuff which would be my main use case, they only run you about £300 or so

Looks like they're best for things like printing your own figurines, rather than building 'parts' for larger mechanical projects, if I'm reading the descriptions correctly?

SLA or bust, normal FDM prints just don't look good. There are good small FDM printers for under £200 now, but expect to empty your pockets for filament on top.
