Hey, GRcadians

Recognising the current fervour and excitement for the upcoming Yooka-Laylee game, the possibility of GRcade plays... Banjo-Kazooie has come to life!

Would you be interested in joining in? If yes...

> Please vote on the starting date
> Please note your format of choice in this thread (You can play on any format - N64, Xbox 360 or PC/Mac emulation)
> Please also note your "previous Banjo-Kazooie gaming experience" in this thread (i.e. never played it, started it, completed it etc)

Thanks. I hope that you're as excited as I am to play the amazing B-K :toot:.

Footnote Depending on the popularity of this "GRcade plays", we could try Tooie and Nuts & Bolts in the future...

You know what? In. 360 version. I've kept our old 360 and recently got it all connected up again on my desk to replay Banjo Kazooie, Tooie and Perfect Dark.

Duno about the date though. Gota work it around Witcher 3 and Batman definitely. Plus I just bought GTA on pc. But I'll go with whatever is popular.

Also previous experience: owned it on n64, never completed it though. Probs got about 1/3 into it. I can kinda remember a swamp level and underwater level with a boat?

11th May should be long enough for me to dig up my 360. I just bought a new HDMI switch with two more ports so I can keep it plugged in with my PC, PS4 and Wii U. That being said, I might just go for the N64 version on PC so that I can use the Pro Controller. Either way, I'm excited!

I've played BK in the past but I never got much further than Treasure Trove Cove. I've always wanted to go back to finish BK so this should be a good chance to do so. I'd also be up for following this with Tooie.

I've got about half way through the game on 360 so I'd be keen to semi join in, if only to play a few more hours of this type of game

I suggest starting when the kickstarter finishes
Playing on 360
Never played either before (but finished the GBA version)

I *think* that was Clanker's Cavern... that's as far as I got, too :-).

I liked it at the time, and bought Kazooie and Tooie off the back of it, but it was relatively basic and I have no idea how well it holds up.

Will be playing Xbox 360 version and I've completed Banjo Kazooie like five or so times. :shifty:

I'm definitely up for this... providing I can get it to run well enough on my emulator!

I got quite a way through it on N64 back when it was released, but never finished it, and haven't played it since.

I'll test it out by playing through the first few minutes or so now, but assume I'm in unless I say otherwise.

EDIT: Works fine! I'm in.

Was thinking of playing it yesterday. Ideally I'd like it to start on the 18th as I finish uni on the 14th.

Man you've missed so much.

I've only completed BK once. I got stuck at the quiz first time round but made up for it with the 360 version. My first time with BK was renting it over a weekend. Made it up to Bubblegloop Swamp. played the early sections and up to the quiz countless times though. I used to be able 100% the first few levels at probably not far off a time trial speed.

I'm interested in taking part but I don't have access to a reliable 360. Should be easy to carve up a schedule.

Oh and I'd definitely attempt a bit of art.

I don't even know why I stopped. I think that it was due to me buying so many games for the first time and letting my attention lapse.

This should be easy enough to emulate with Project 64 on modest hardware so hopefully it's still pretty accessible to most people.

I'd be up for this. I've played quite a lot of it before on the N64 and Project 64, but never completed it. Bought it for about £3 on XBLA recently and have been waiting for time to play it, so this would be the perfect excuse.

I'll play. I've 100%-ed this game so many times now that most of this will be playing from memory, so it'll be more like playing through the game like I'd watch a film, as opposed to attempting the challenge. But they're glorious memories, because it's a wonderful game

I'll play on 360 I need to order it so voted to start as late as possible.

I played a bit with a friend but was mainly drunk so yeah virtually no experience with it.

Just to confirm this is the Xbox arcade version of the original yeah?
