I think it means it's been sent from your phone successfully but not received by the other phone either because the phone is off or doesn't have signal.

Why can't I drag and drop files from Mac onto an external hard drive? Some bullshit about NTFS not being supported and needs to be FAT32 which no ones likes because you can't transfer files larger than 4GB.

This sort of stupid gooseberry fool is why "it just works" is a lie. Non obvious and interior alternatives to right click and no support for mainstream harddrive formats.

I'm not willing to format or create a new partition. I'm just ranting and hoping there's an easier solution. How can it be 2017 and they don't support NTFS?

Because NTFS is a Microsoft format, and Apple are Apple.

My Western Digital external HDD had a driver you could download from their site specifically for that.

Has anyone had this happen to their USB cable?

The plastic has somehow broken and there's a crack appeared on the plastic. First time I've ever had any sort of cable wear out on me.

When: June 5, 6PM GMT
Where to watch : Apple Official Stream
Live Blog:

So what are people excited to see?

I really hope they start to improve the interface of iOS. Started to look a bit dated around the edges. MacBook Pros with the Intel chipset would be ideal.

Has happened to every iPhone cable I've owned. Probably because I wrap them around my finger to keep them small and neat when transporting them. I've used some electrical tape to hold it together and so far it's worked even though it doesn't look nice

Missed it because I was at work. Just catching up on my phone and that Homepod looks pretty cool. I've been looking looking at buying a Sonos for a while but this looks pretty sweet depending on if it has Spotify integration.

Sending cash via Apple Pay over iMessage is gonna be pretty handy too with my mates. Read something about a one handed keyboard and password auto fill in apps too which I've been wanting for ages.

all hooked heavily in to Apple Music. Only Apple Music, though: Spotify subscribers will have to go elsewhere, it appears.

Yeah, the Homepod actually looked really good. Be interested to hear how good it is in comparison with a SONOS.

Glad the whole Mac (pretty much) is getting a much needed upgrade. Seems a good time to invest in a new machine.

I'm still on my mid-2013 13inch MacBook Air. Zero problems with it and I can't really see myself upgrading for at least a year. Pretty obvious the Air line is as good as dead now so when I do upgrade it'll probably be to the 13inch Pro since that basically seems to be the Air replacement. I still don't get the point in that 12inch MacBook.

So, having had the iPad Pro 10.5 for a week, I think it's the best Apple device I've ever owned. It hits the sweet spot in terms of size and it's blisteringly fast. I'm typing this post now with the Smart Keyboard I bought, and it feels surprisingly great! In the end I decided against the Logitech Slim Combo, as while it does everything (full case rather than just protecting the front, holder for the pencil, backlit keyboard), from the reviews it sounds like it does none of them particularly well, unfortunately!

In terms of apps, I've been amazed by a couple. Affinity Photo is well out of my skill range really, but even a complete noob like me can whizz everything around and see the power of the software. Lumafusion, though, is a revelation. It's a video editor, designed to be the first 'Pro' level one on iOS. It's pretty astounding - the app laughs at manipulating multiple 4K video tracks, and since it's a pain to be in front of my Mac compared to carrying my iPad around with me, the prospect of doing some actual serious video editing without needing to use Final Cut Pro X is strawberry floating excellent. Lumafusion is very user-friendly and a big set of video tutorials has recently gone up. The roadmap for development is very promising, too.

As an amateur electronic music noodler, it's lovely to report that the Pro can load a bazillion apps into Audiobus or AUM without even starting to fall over.

I've barely used my Apple Pencil yet! Need to dive into some tutorials for Procreate, though I am the world's worst artist.

Anyway, if you're on the fence, buy this thing. It's fabulous.

I didn't really pay attention to the ARKit stuff at WWDC but some of the stuff people are doing with it looks cool as strawberry float.

There's a lot more on that Twitter.

The iOS11 public beta is out, apparently. Definitely trying this on my iPad.
