Haven't installed it on my phone, what with not being mental, but I really like it on my iPad (Air 2).

Love the new keyboard's flick down for alternative keys, the dock is pretty cool and being able to grab something and then tap more of them (like icons on the home screen or photos) to drag lots of items at the same time is brilliant - kind of makes you wonder why you haven't been able to do it until now.

The editing and markup tools for screenshots are great.

Seems nice and fast, too.

Seems a good place to ask, i want to get a new Iphone as my one is on its way out. Don't care about model as long as its above my current one which is a 6

Is there any deals out there where the contract is no more that £25 and includes enough data? Don't really mind paying some upfront but want to keep the month cost low, (I currently pay £18 and get 10gb with unlimited calls and texts)

iPhone back on iOS 10 thank strawberry float. Didn't have a recent back-up but didn't lose any apps doing a restore which I'm happy about.

Feels so nice being able to unlock your phone and not have to wait 30 seconds-1 minute for your homescreen to unfreeze :dread:

Thought my phone was buggered. Even back on iOS 10 the screen freezing and random apps opening on their own carried on :dread:

I think it was because of the case I was using (metal one that screws together over the phone) not happened since putting it in an older case :fp:

Apple, like the rest of the strawberry floating world, must really hate me. Restored my phone today from a back up I'd made today. Two Step Verification bullshit is using my old phone number, which I no longer have access to, so I can't do anything but look at a strawberry floating forever appearing box asking for my strawberry floating Apple ID and password. This gooseberry fool with Apple lately has left a very sour taste and I think it's time I started thinking of using something else that is less gooseberry fool which is a shame as I've used iPhones for the past 7+ years.

Account recovery will take a day. A DAY. A strawberry floating DAY FOR SOMETHING THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE AUTOMATED. In the meantime I have to go to work with a use turd of a phone were I can't access or use anything on it BECAUSE OF THAT MOTHER strawberry floating gooseberry fool 'ENTER YOUR strawberry floating APPLE ID AND PASSWORD' box that appears. And appears. And appears.

You didn't change the two step verification to your new number? Not sure how that's Apple's fault.

See that's the thing, I did. I had to disable it to add my new number and remove the old one. Same gooseberry fool with Apple Pay.

Got a call scheduled 10AM tomorrow while I'm at work so I hope they can sort it out there and then.

That's insane, they should just the Google authenticator type setup whee you have a QR code and can implement it on multiple devices so you have a backup.

Spoke to them this morning and basically have to wait for a damn email that resets the verification process. When I get that email I don't know but its been a right pain in the arse at work without being able to use my phone. Good news is I have 90% battery when I got home which it usually is more in the 30% range by then..

If that's the same email my dad had to wait on when his iPad got bricked then it takes just over 2 weeks

In this day and age, taking 2 weeks for a strawberry floating email is nothing short of disgusting. I was told if I hadn't gotten a result today to ring back on Friday. If it's not sorted by the weekend I think I'll take it to CeX along with the Watch and trade in for a Samsung S7. It's basically useless apart from taking calls and responding to texts form the lock screen (Or asking Siri to text for me from the lock screen)

Did you get a time frame of when you'd get an email response? From memory I think my Dad was quoted a week

I don't think they're generated by computer and each one is assessed manually by a person, hence the response times.

I'd be surprised if CeX even accepted the phone in its current state to be honest.

Got an email last night asking me to either confirm the recovery process or cancel it (Confirmed obviously) and it then stated instruction will be sent to my current number.

It might work slightly different for you. I think the biggest problem I had was recovering the actual iCloud account. The device recovery was a pain (an update killed it) but the longest waiting for the iCloud account to be reset.

Sorted now, took 4 bloody days to get sorted though and after being told today by Apple Support (LOL) that it might take up to 3 weeks to reset I was all ready to wipe clean and get shut of my iPhone and Watch for a Samsung S7 over the weekend :fp:

Can anyone point in the right direction with something.

After an adapter allowing for an iPhone with lightning connector to play audio through to a legacy iPod cable (30 pin I think they were?)

I bought an adaptor for someone that works for changing the iPhone with older iPod cables, and also lets you connect the iPhone up to a laptop to access photos (data). However this doesn't work with Hi-Fi's etc to play audio as it simple comes up with "iPod disconnected" on any audio playback device.

Is there something specific I have to look for? Or does anyone have a similar cable or adaptor they can recommend?

For the record it's a 30 pin cable connected behind a dash, so I can't access any USB etc. It has to be 30pin > lightning

OLED version of the new iPhone sounds like it'll be quite expensive :dread: https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkell ... b420e110ba

The iPhone 8 will be Apple’s most expensive iPhone ever and I’m hearing pricing will start from $1,100 to $1,200.

At that price, I'd expect it to be RGB subpixel layout at 2560x1440 but my gut feeling is it'll just be Pentile. :dread:

Also, I thought Samsung only ever sold the previous generation OLED screens to rivals rather than the latest and greatest which makes Pentile even more likely.
