Question of the day.

I got an aging iMac 2008 model and I am wanting to connect it to the Panasonic TV I got. so Panasonic has both HDMI and PC port slot available so what wire over 2 meters would be ok?

either.

HDMI will get you sound with the video too
VGA will probably get you a better picture resolution, but you'll have to run the audio on a separate cable using a headphone output from the mac, to the twin phono audio inputs that your TV likely has near the VGA socket.

hmm I think VGA and some audio cables will be the path to take as it'll save me faffing with HDMI ports. Got two that already being used.

The trackpd uses gestures, you scroll using two fingers. Go into system preferences and in the trackpad section it has clips of gestures and what they do.

Command + Tab shows what windows/apps are open and lets you choose between them. Swiping up on the trackpad does something similar.

Guys, help please, my mac has recently updated itself, and for some reason I cannot delete emails :| I have over 4000 due to it porting over everything from all of my emails ever, and now when delete them, they disappear but a few seconds later they're back.

Anyone else had this trouble?

Are you trying to delete them all at once?

Ive tried both ways mate, i delete one at a time and they come back, I press command + a to highlight them all and delete them all, they still come back.

:?

Ive recently upgraded the OS and I've read reports others have had this same problem.

My email app/function was fairly dodgy, and still is tbh. Maybe it's the sheer volume of them?

Possibly, i can delete them from my iPad, or my s5, for some reason my mac has pulled over all mail from 2009 onwards :fp: Ill just have to leave it ad see if it fixes itself over the next few days.

Try removing the account from Mail and adding it again.

Mail is just a poor email client in general, though. It's probably keeping a local copy of all your mail, taking up way more space than you think.

Found this in an apple support thread

for each of the specific mailboxes where these offending emails reside, go to the mail menu, mailbox>rebuild and rebuild the mailbox. this should clear these stubborn emails. if that does not help, shut down your computer, reboot, launch mail and try to rebuild again.

hope this helps

I certainly hope they've got more than that for the iPhone 7.
