Finally on the wireless charging bandwagon.

Oh yeah, forgot about wireless charging! Need this then, if only so I can finally use the charging pad in my car!

Pronouncing iPhone X as iPhone ten doesn't make sense because it immediately makes the iPhone 8 sound inferior. It also means the phone after the iPhone 9 can't be called the ten!

Bloomin' expensive at $999 for the 64GB X, but I guess we always knew it would be. They didn't even mention the price of the top end one.

Found that iPhone X segment a tad strange. All very nice but it seemed to be basically pimping it's USP as animated emoji. Really not sure about the strip at the top of the screen either...looks like a cheapo screen protector.

That's a very shrewd thought. It'll stop the FBI and other law enforcement demanding Apple give them a backdoor. Unless the person is dead and doesn't have a face left of course.

What on earth is the point of announcing iPhone 8, say it's the best thing ever, and then 15 minutes later announce iPhone 10, which is even better....

What a horrendous presentation. Apple is not a humanitarian company out to save the world, it's an aggressive company out to make its shareholders richer.

Bit confused by the watch as well. I have a series 2 which I love but I can't see the benefits of the non cellular series 3 over the current 2. The fact that they are discontinuing the series 2 and keeping the series 1 sort of confirms this. Looks like the cellular version is only available to EE in the U.K originally as well.

Surely it's no different to the current fingerprint unlocking. It's an optional thing purely for expediency and ease of use. If you want to you just just have it set to lift to wake and then the numerical code input.

It's £999 for 64gb and £1149 for 256gb.

Looks as if the 8 and more surprisingly the £1k X don't even give you a charging mat for your wireless charging handset...looks like it's just the bog standard cable and power block. I'm sort of surprised but then I'm not.

Irish prices are a joke. €1180/$1400 for the base X.

Unless the US equivalent of VAT is around 40% that's a pure piss take.

A grand, then. Bit pricey. Looks nice though.
