They've been really misleading with their numbers for Face ID security.

They talk about the chances of a random person being able to unlock your phone going from 1 in 50,000 on Touch ID to 1 in 1,000,000 with Face ID, but the difference is that Touch ID is only subject to random attacks, while Face ID introduces the possibility of targeted attacks, because it's very easy to tell what you need to fool the phone.

Well, I just spotted the Galaxy S8 for just over £500 on Amazon so I've ordered one of those and I'll see how I get on with it. I'm pretty heavily tied into Apple though, what with Apple music, photo sharing and whatnot with the family.

Will see how it goes - and keep the iPhone 7 just in case!

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Photos is a bit difficult and the easiest option is to move really to Google Photos as it is cross platform, but Apple Music is available on Android so you are all good on that front.

The American price doesn't include taxes, so I don't know why everyone keeps referring to that. Apple have also been doing this for years. They do not work by the exchange rate. Everything over here will be more expensive.

But at the end of the day all smart phones are getting expensive. S8 plus launched at £800 and now the price has dropped rapidly. The Note 8 is launching on Friday for £879. Pixel xl 128gb cost £819 which was the same price as the iPhone 7 plus 128gb.

Well I'll be damned! I never knew that about Apple music! That's awesome - you've just rid me of my initial buyers remorse! Ta!

I'll look at the 8 but disappointed with the lack of 128gb version so may go for the 7

The iwatch 3 is appealing especially after the price fitbit announced for their ionic

That's another thing. Why get rid of 128gb?!

Updated iTunes. The seem to have removed the iOS app store and have combined iTunes U into the Podcasts section. I'm guessing in High Sierra the iOS app store is getting combined with the Mac App store, which they should have done ages ago.

They really need to just kill iTunes on desktop and split it into separate apps like they've done on iOS.

EE have just released their prices for the iPhone X. The cheapest monthly cost is £73 a month with £100 upfront and that gets you 15gb of data.

I hope you at least get a handjob in exchange for that.

I'd like to get an iPhone X, but I am happy with my current iPhone 7 Plus and I will leave it until next year.

Couldn't find an answer, but do you know if these are 12/18/24 month contracts?

If it’s 12 months then it’s an absolute bargain. ;)

Same. Waiting to see what revisions it has and I don't really like buying first versions of a new Apple product or major redesigns.

High Sierra GM is out now if you're in the beta software program. Gonna give that a download later.

It's crazy but there will be thousands of people who will pay it.
