It was like ten-fifteen minutes for me. Done.

Just realised it's the slow WiFi at this Hilton hotel :/

It's meant to work a lot better on older devices. Apparently they were originally planning a visual overhaul to the UI like they did with iOS 7 but delayed that till next year to concentrate on improved performance for current and older devices after all the complains of iOS 11 running poorly and being too buggy.

For a moment I thought this was the "Apple IIe" thread.

Imagine my bewilderment.

Security codes from two-factor authentication text messages being added to autofill is a revelation.

Hotel WiFi always so slow.

Just updated my iPhone X, iPod Touch, Apple Watch, MacBook Pro and Apple TV 4K

One issue that I have found is on the iPhone when you go into settings the search box blocks the top option from being pressed

Edit - that problem seems to have gone away now, it’s strange not having to hold press before swiping up to close apps

Seems to be working okay on my 6S Plus. In the last year it's been pretty frustrating to use sometimes (the keyboard was slow and froze often causing weird autocorrect shenanigans, also the camera wouldn't work sometimes which was annoying when I need to take a photo in the moment - luckily snapchat worked instead)

Weirdly both those issues appeared to be solved as soon as I hit download without it even installing so perhaps that cleared some kind of cache on the phone.

No reason for me to buy the new phone now :datass:

The measure tool is really good, I have been measuring things and I thought I had around a 6 inch to 6 and half inch but it turns out it’s 9 inches long, so much bigger than I thought!

I took a photo

Thank you, I’m very happy with it and everyone that has seen it and handled it also seemed to like it

I don’t really know where to start with them, the screen time data is interesting but I wish it was across more devices as I check the majority of my notifications via my Apple Watch, I spend most of the morning working on my MacBook and watch Apple TV in the evening so I’d like to know my screen time combined

Apparently it will log time across multiple devices via iCloud but I don't know if that's a thing yet. Mojave isn't out till next Tuesday or something.

I managed to get a Apple Watch Series 4 today, I wanted the 44mm Silver Nike watch with the white sports loop, but I ended up getting the 44mm Space Grey with the black sports band

The packageing like most Apple products is amazing and a joy to open, I absolutely love it
Image

The watch face even comes in a tiny protective pouch
Image

Even though the actual watch feels around the same size as my 42mm watch the screen seems so much larger, the ability to click on links amazing and it’s so clear and bright it looks really good
Image

The new watch faces are also great and can fit so much more information on without being cluttered, the one I’m using is this one

I think that is the definition of cluttered in picture form.

That was back in May and it was a series 2 and I got it cheap (£150) I wanted to see if I liked it and would wear it and I did, I still have it and its the one next to my new series 4 in the photo, since buying I have worn it everyday since and could not imagine not having one now

Edit - found the post

Not a bad price. Is that a series 1? I've been thinking about getting an Apple Watch for ages but keep changing my mind and got confused by the different models and Apples structure of the releases.

Original model Series 1
Series 2 that had a better chip, battery, screen, added GPS
Series 3 that has all of the above plus cellular calling
Series 2 was discontinued because the difference between that and the Series 3 wasn't that big
Original Series 1 model was discontinued and replaced with one that had the faster chip from the Series 2 but still called the Series 1

its series 2, I wanted to see if I like and use it and then I may get series 4 (assuming there is a difference and its released later this year) I ideally would of liked silver/white to match by iPhone X, so far I love the Apple watch the fact I can change tracks and higher and lower the volume on my AirPods with the watch is a major bonus, I don't want or need cellular but I wanted GPS so series 2 seemed to suit me,

Spending £400 on a watch, and not even getting the one you want.
