Can't get the touch ID to work though :? Keeps telling me to cover entire home button with finger which I am doing. After several failed attempts it says can't recognise finger try another :fp: might have to remove screen protector to get it working.

Screen feels much brighter and colours more vibrant than old phone. Not too keen on power button moving to side and headphone jack being at bottom but I can learn to live with the changes.

Ah, from the iPhone 4 it must be an amazing change!

4 years of technological advancement. Let's hope I can get another 4 from this one!

How the hell do Mafro and GrinKat get high prices quoted from Apple?

My 5c 32gb is worth £45. :slol:

EDIT: It's got a small dent in the case, which brings it down to £22.

CEX, then.

3-4 years is a decent amount of time to keep a smartphone imo. I am contemplating keeping my iPhone 5 for a third year rather than upgrading as apart from the fingerprint sensor I cannot see how having an iPhone 6 is worth an extra £500 to me (if I sold the iPhone 5) and got the 64GB version of iPhone 6.

You've put a screen protector over the finger print sensor? :? it's made of sapphire glass, no need to cover it.

Mine is unlocked which probably adds more to the price.

My 6 arrived this morning, won't have a proper chance to play around with it till after work tonight. My official black silicone case is still a preorder and won't come till October 2nd-8th so It's gonna have to be naked till then unless Carphone Warehouse in town has any.

m8 its pretty impressive. Really handy unlocking the phone with a fingerprint rather than a password or pattern. You can set it up to log you in to websites and apps too instead of a password.

It's what it came wrapped in. I'm always reluctant to remove it!

Ok so I removed it and now touch ID works perfectly.

I love touch ID, it's so much easier to unlock your phone that way.

You left the wrapper on that covers the microphones and Touch ID? I've heard a lot of people think their iPhones are faulty because they leave the mics covered by the plastic and then go to Apple stores to complain.

Reminds me of the "only one of my speakers is working" thing on previous models.

How does that work? The 16GB 4S gets you £110 and even with the screen smashed (which happened to my sister's like a week before the 6 arrived :x), it's giving me £71.50.

Thanks for that, btw, Maf. £71.50 without the hassle of fixing the screen is probably worth it.

You get more for unlocked phones. I looked up their recycling service and apparently they use an external company, the phones get sent all the way to Belgium and if your not happy with the quote they give you it costs £20 to get it sent back to you. I think I might just try and sell it.

Apparently skinny jean wearers are having a tough time with the iphone 6 bending while in pockets. Meh.

Isn't that most of Apple's target demographic, though?
