I still use HDMI and the USB ports on my existing Macbook Pro. I connect a huge amount of stuff for it, and I refuse to buy silly dongles.

The price is simply crazy, for something which I see as a massive step-back from what I already have.

I will not be buying it, and I hope it flops big time.

So it's not just the new MacBooks that are more expensive - Apple has secretly raised the prices on all computer, some by hundreds of Pounds (for the same models which were cheaper 24 hours ago).

Pure greed - this is a company which makes billions of dollars profit.

I hope Apple loses a lot of fans over this. I use Mac because it's easy to use, but I'm not one of those devotees who worship the ground this greedy company walks on...

As anyone ever custom built a mini mac? I've been reading about it and quite tempted as it's much cheaper but scared I'll strawberry float it up

Which is better: an Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 card or Radeon Pro 450/455/460?

Lmao, the lack of tactile escape and function keys is going to completely strawberry float over productivity for professional design/cad/cam software users who use a bazillion shortcuts. Not to mention having to use dongles or hubs for every connected machine/printer. That goes for audio devices too, unless you want to use hardware designed and priced for the same idiots prepared to spend this kind of money on the same thing with a gimmick.

I'll stick with my 2010, and I was thinking of upgrading to an Air at some point and building a hackintosh but decided to invest in machinery that actually does stuff instead.

Are these meant to be the same price/more expensive than a 5K iMac?

Does/did anyone else find that the vibrate on the iPhone 6 is nowhere near strong enough? I never notice it in my pocket. Very annoying, especially as, apart from that, I think it's an amazing phone.

Yeah I have the same problem. Sometimes I'll feel it but most of the time I can't feel it.

Maybe I need to buy tighter jeans.

Rather than buy new clothes, just exercise less and eat more. You will soon have a tighter pair of jeans and be able to feel your phone vibrate more easily. Plus the ladies love a chubby guy with an apple.

Apple have discounted all USB-C adapters on the Store. USB-C to USB for example is now £9. Offer runs until December 31st.

Strange question, is there anyway to clear the cache on a IPhone? Got a 16gb se the other day because I couldn't afford the 64gb, is the only option to delete and then reinstall the app?

Seems crazy having to do this as it's so easy on Android

Yeah it's definitely the best keyboard available. I love the emoji search.

Yeah that's really handy as I have no idea what emojis there actually are. What's odd is that it is better than their android Google keyboard.

Question from a layman - if I was to get rid of my iPhone 6 and replace it with an android device, how easy is it to transfer all of the songs on the old device to the new one? They're all on iTunes on my laptop if that makes things easier/worse.

My galaxy s7 came with a dongle in the box which allowed me to directly wire my s7 to my iPhone 5. It then pulled all my music, contacts, bookmarks and music across automatically.
