Sod that. I've got too many apps that I'm going to lose.

It's kinda annoying the amount of apps I have that haven't been updated to support 64-bit. It's not as if the devs have been able to do this for over two years or anything.

I'm thinking of buying a new iPad, and keeping my current one on iOS 10, with all the old apps. It's the original Air, so I reckon this will be the last update it will qualify for anyway.

I've got an iPad 4 which isn't supported by iOS 11. Only ever gets used for reading comics and nothing else these days anyway so I'm not really arsed.

My Air 1 becoming very slow was the main reason I upgraded.

Mine's still running like new, and there's not a single mark on it, which isn't bad going. I bought it on launch day, so it's getting on for four years old. I'll kind of resent replacing it, but I do fancy some of the features of the Pro range. Just don't know whether to go BIG.

Updated to iOS 11. Regret doing so :slol:

Random apps opening by themselves, safari taking over 10GB in space and I’ve no idea how to get it back (it’s the profile for Apple Watch Beta which is over 4GB I think it downloaded more than once)

If I've learnt anything over the years, especially recently, it's never to install any firmware at launch. I wait a few days if not weeks before installing...it allows everyone else to strawberry float up their hardware first.

Having been excited about it yesterday as I really want iOS11 on my iPad, I'm holding off for at least a couple of beta versions!

To be fair I’ve been using beta updates on my phone for a while and they haven’t been bad. So I thought ‘hey, not been so bad before so should be fine with 11 right? Right???’

Yeah like strawberry float it is :toot:

No chance I'd be installing a public beta on my main devices this early when the official release is still at least three months away. The Sierra one last year was a shambles and I had to roll back to the previous OS it was so bad.

For those who have installed the beta, would love to hear your opinions.

They would tell you but they've bricked their devices and can't post anymore. ;)

Any issues with buying an iPad in Singapore and it working fine in the UK? Plug socket wouldn't be correct, would the 4G version work with our network in the UK?

No, shouldn't have an issue. Just checked the specs pages from the UK and Singapore and they look identical. Check for yourself though...

Edit: Also, Singapore use the same 3 pin plug we use.

I've had my Iphone SE about 9 months and the battery life has become appalling, lasting about 10 hours tops if charged fully.

Is this a common problem?

It’s actually illegal over there to lock any mobile device to a single network so everything is unlocked. I know because my iPhone 3, 4 and 5 were bought there.

iOS 11 still being gooseberry fool. Can’t say there’s anything great about the update either but then I’ve not really bothered with my phone as much because of the gooseberry fool bugs like unlocking your phone and the home screen being ‘locked’ and nothing happening when I tap an app or folder.
