Somehow Archer has completely passed me by. I was aware of it as "that show I seen advertised on TV with the weird animation that also pops up in my netflix suggestions" but hadn't really thought anything of it. I've now hammered through the first season and a half in two or three day.
After watching the first 3 episodes I'm finding mixed feelings really. For the first 3 episodes at least, I felt this has been one of the weaker seasons. Maybe it's the change of style/setting....but at the end of the first episode, [is]with the sort of series trailer playing[/is] I just kinda felt my heart sink a little. Hopefully things will pick up for me as the series progresses. Haven't seen episode 4 yet.
I think the biggest problem is the charm has gone. Archer has always been laughably inept, but gets the job done. Now with the whole lets deal Cocaine thing, I cannot see them making them successful drug dealers, so now the whole group is just painfully inept and directionless.
