Agreed, OF:2 will run on the consoles and be much more approachable, it will sell in big numbers and therefore be deemed a success. My fear is that it will lack depth of game play. Here comes a massive generalisation and as such should not be considered flaming but... Console games tend to be played for a few months then something new and shiny comes along and the masses jump on that. This is also true of a lot of PC games, but a few are played in large number for years. The PC gaming community look for these long lasting games. A clan expect to get a couple of years out of a game, not the few months a lot of console gamers expect. Most of the CoD community are pissed off with Activison for releasing new CoD titles each year! It can take 4-6 months for them to fix them to the point we can play them in competition, for them to release a new title when we are only half way through a years competition spoils it for everyone.
Back to ArmA-II and OF:2 one will sell in large numbers and be played for a few months the other will be bought and played by a much smaller group but played for years...
