Looks like vigis aren't restricted to inactives then. :(

So SD suggested 5 vigis. We have 3 kills and one less for SD. Maybe SD was lying about that, or perhaps alpha doesn't count towards kill numbers

SD did say that they can choose to kill less people if they wanted.

Not sure why they would do that though. :?

Drummy and Kanbei are big losses. Very experienced players. :( :(

Just wait for the inevitable now.

The joy of getting home and seeing the thread motor on about 20 pages is that you just know something good has happened.

I think 'Falsey is doing an Alpha' sacrifice angle is a pretty absurd one (Although if anyone has the cojones for it, it's him.), though.

I was a bit suspicious of Drummy and thought he might be a vigilante, but as he's not then that's a big loss as he very good at the game. Presumably that's why he was targeted. :(

5 vigi's would not mean 5 kills. In the past we've started with 5 or 6 vampires and only started with 3 kills per night, down to 2 after the first lost vampire.

You can usually tell the good players because they will be active and question, without going batshit insane at every development.

They will be missed.

I suppose they could make us believe that there is one fewer Vigi than there actually is.

The benefits of this would be possibly negligible, as they would never be able to use their maximum number of kills per night.

The most likely scenario is still that there are 3 Vigis out there.

Did SD explicitly mention that there were 5?

Spitballing here - but what if the Vigi's are limited in the shots they can take somehow and take them independently? The way you got Gunshot 1, then two gunshots together was odd.

Looking at the departed's post history these caught my eye:

[iup=3571179]Kanbei[/iup] wrote:I seriously think that going inactives this early is stupid. I imagine all the vigi's have posted by now to make sure they aren't on the list, waste of time if you ask me.

[iup=3571826]Kanbei[/iup] wrote:Not to rain on this parade or anything, but what if Falsey is the alpha vigilante? He'll have sacrificed Staydead and would have the names of all the seers. Just saying.

[iup=3571723]Drumstick[/iup] wrote:The last game showed how valuable good vigilantes can be, single handedly turning the game on its head into a position that the vampires didn't recover from. Should we really be wasting a precious bullet on the say so of a dead to rights bad vigilante?

Contradictory opinions all over the place, can't see anything we can really use.
