Yes he shot me twice for wanting to kill the Alpha.

He keeps mentioning my use of the Apollo gif, probably to deflect from this absolute shocker of a play.

Despite all my bad plays, at least i didn't shoot myself.

I’d much rather go out through the random chance of bad luck than actively hindering the village but hey ho.

satriales using the gif definitely strawberry floated us though right? The anger of that allowed OrangeRKN to get mayor. :shifty:

I’d imagine there came a point where it was to the advantage of the wolves to use the gifs and spread a bit of chaos, but for me it was just an attempt to try and get involved the game a little bit while the odds were still against anyone important taking a hit.

We did try to weaponise this yeah. IIRC it was also the day Pancake pointed out that the revelation of mayoral protection would result in wolves seeking the mayor's office (completely true and valid) but then undid the threat this might have caused us by running for mayor himself!

Ha yeh, that did occur to me. But equally, somebody from village did have to try for mayor, we didn't have the luxury of doing nothing. I'm annoyed with myself about that day, OR's reasoning for satriales was... bad. I should have done more to point this out but sadly quite a few from village seemed to agree.

Thanks for hosting DML!

Next time I play, I'll have to play when I don't have anywhere near as much going on in my real life, so I'm not stressing out aa much when the finger gets pointed at me. Getting shot twice was unexpected but I found it pretty hilarious, so thanks Vermy and Sat for that

Also the second game where the alpha has pointed at me for being something I'm not on the first day. Pancake got me killed in the last game I played on the very first day, and OR decided to point me out on the first day too

Yeah, but it's not what role you had it was what happened after that. It wasn't just a role claim and ah-ha that persons a liar they're a wolf.

The point was nobody would know what roles the other people had, so nobody would've been certain that every single player had the same role. Which meant moving forward we could bluff in the thread to throw off the wolves by actually planning and working on something. DML posting the role PM in the thread completely stopped everything I had planned for after that day and it also made me look like the asshole who spoiled everyones fun. Sadly it just turned out the role I gave everyone was a seer which meant in this game it became useless. I thought it was going to be a more interesting role we could work with. Amnesiac wouldn't have helped the wolves at all, but it could have helped us. I don't see how anyone could possibly say that logically choosing A would give everyone the role Seer.

The problem was it created a major game conflict that had to be addressed as it broke seering. Also I was talking directly to the wolves, they werent falling for it. Why lie?

Also, what a boring ass approach. Winning is not everything. You (qikz/Nun) chose the chance of slightly improving your chance of winning, over the enjoyment of every other live player at that point. (slow clap)

Despite the fact you were heavily involved in the game up to that point, and part of the super secret club, which keeps the majority of players in the dark, when given the opportunity you willingly chose to make the game less interesting for the majority of people still playing, just to slightly increase your chance to win.

You can moan as much as you want over end game rules/game changers spoiling etc, but you really shouldn't.

This was my thought too. Also why I understand Sat firing off the Apollo gif.

Bit rich you complain about someone trying to ruin other peoples enjoyment when when you got lynched you spent the entire day trying to get me lynched by lying to get me killed straight after.

For valid reasons at the time - getting lynched is part of the game and early on there's very little info to go on for the village side. I didn't actually put you up to be lynched either someone else was mayor that day and I was only one vote.

I got bored at this point and couldn't be bothered to continue to quote.

You chose to slightly improve your chance at winning, at the expense of every other player in the game.

Not a good look.

Well, I quite enjoyed the Apprentice Seer role.

Especially after it was upgraded to Supreme Mayor and Glorious Leader, Mayor Blue Wolf / Apprentice Seer Sir Silly Sprout.

I don't know why I went a little too aggressive moaning about the seer move. As far as I knew, I was the only player who could be seered red at that point of the game, so I was a huge beneficiary of it! Probably helped us win the game! :datass:

Your play to come out in the open wreaked of wolf (or a chaotic, but I discounted that as it would have happened earlier in the game) but not Alpha, as that would have been madness. I think the performance by The Village was pretty poor throughout but we got played well and truly.
