I think you're acting bizarrely based purely on the only other AYA? game I've played - the last werewolf one. You were much more active in that one and I think you're being suspiciously quiet in this one. I could be way off the mark though.

I was dead after a week in the last one. So I didn't do that good of a job

Despite the high probability that TNAG is infected, I think his reasoning for Sykes not being the alpha/infected is pretty sound. Cheeky Devlin I can't believe is the alpha - he surely has some sort of cult leader type role? I think both of these would be wasted lynches.

Sykes would confirm his role once and for all to the thread. But yes wasted lynch.
Cheeky devlin - cult leader, it might break up a third group of players.

I don't think we've ever had much use out of going after good but inactive posters because they "didn't use to be inactive in other games". At worst, you risk exposing someone who has been active behind the scenes.

Such behaviour isn't necessarily indicative of anything in this game either, since the roles have been evolving. They are unlikely to have planned to be inactive from day 1 on the off-chance they randomly get assigned the Alpha. So do you think they're infected? If so, when did they get infected and how does this play into their consistent (?) low-posting behaviour? If their behaviour is the reason for suspecting them, then it must follow that their behaviour plays into their role as either infected or alpha somehow and I'd quite like to hear a theory on how that plays out in a believable fashion.

OK and my shortlist for lynch is Cheeky Devlin, Cuttooth, Roonmaster and Kanbei. For the reasons stated above. - ie incredibly flimsy.

Im going to bed now, and hopefully i will check the thread tomorrow morning and then again at lunch time.

Thats a fair point. By all means run for mayor with your suspicions. You me and Sykes could have a three-way.

I'd like to think no one would vote for Sykes or TAP regardless of their platform - given that they're as yet unconfirmed in their roles, you're as near as can be confirmed uninfected, and we have a potentially important day tomorrow with the RoboPutin stuff.

If you want some discussion, it would be better to open the floor up to nominations for who we lynch (once you're elected leader).

If I had suspicions, I would be posting more often!

I have a feeling that I'm missing something but from looking at the players list there are clearly several special roles left alive. Surely they will have been the targets for infection and therefore we must destroy them. Right?

Its safe to say any specials worth being infected will likely be taken by now. They've had double infections for a few days and have had access to the A_Z list since we did around day 4. The only ones left are those randomly generated by vial 3 (one is dead, one is maybe still alive?) and our "super" last line of defence created by vial 4.

I think cheeky devlin is most likely a bored human but your the one running for mayor.

I think devlins post style suggests a unique role / win condition and we can definitely rule him out as alpha since he was posting like that during ironhides alpha reign.

I doubted Sykes bcause his role is essentially unkillable if true, especially since there is only 1 space marine left with no way of telling who's side he's on.

I agree TAP has been quiet only posting since his name was mentioned, and he's run these games before so would make a good alpha potentially.

Shot in the dark as always but he'd get my vote.

Finally, someone's recognised me as a usually good player, only took until day 13 :p The praise makes me happy even though its put me in the lynch list, and all I've done this game is read the last three pages of the thread and then thrown out wild speculation.

I'm just a human I'm afraid. I'd pluck for Cheeky Devlin to go. If Moggy had always planned for their to be a second Alpha "randomly" selected, surely it'd make sense for the pro-infection role to take on the Alpha mantle? If this was a film, you know that would be the plotline. And it'd be embarrassing if he won and was the Alpha. Embarrassing.

I'm pretty sure Sykes is also Infected, but there's no point going after him because it won't win us the game. I'm happy to go along with mcjihge's plan, it's likely to be a player like the ones he's mentioned.
