So it looks like a normal human got infected this time, but I don't think we can ignore the possibility that it was a special role.

If Moggy is announcing every special role when they get infected then later on in the game it could be easy to work out who it was, so I don't think that is happening.
I think it was only the keyholders/scientist roles that got announced because our goal at the time was getting those people together.

The alphabetical theory is incorrect. I'm a human (a fairly unexciting one at that) and beneath the Immune. Whether you choose to believe me or not is up to you, but I'm sure other people are in the same boat that could clarify?

Been busy as hell today, can someone give me a quick rundown on what happened since page 40ish? Edd mentioned some silliness about the sign up list. Anything else I need to know?

You say that, but it doesn't disprove the theory:

Perhaps the missing a couple of people off and then adding them back in is true. You could be one of the forgotten, the rest of the list could be in order.
