Doesn't seem to have picked up on here at all sadly, i need to put more time into it as i have played it for probably an hour since launch.

The new update is now available, will download tonight and give it a go

I'll probably be on from like 9. I'm going out for dinner at 7 with my Dad for my birthday.

Just bring the Switch with you and ask the restaurant for the WiFi code

So I've really been getting into this and think it's a wonderfully executed idea but how much does the computer cheat from say, level 5 onwards? They seem to be able to instantly block specials without retracting their arms. So frustrating.

Yeah, the computer reads your inputs to predict what you will do before you do it. So it can pull off stuff no human could.

Yeah, they definitely do this but that's not quite what I'm talking about. What you're describing is fairly standard for higher difficulties in fighting games.

But what I mean is, they do things they shouldn't be able to do regardless of reactions-e.g. going into a block instantly without their extended arms retracting properly.

New character revealed: Lola Pop, a nunchunk wielding French clown.

Looks like she can block in the air which is a very useful ability.

Did anyone try the new mode that started today for Party? Basically Arm's version of Splatfesh. Pretty nice idea to be fair.

Not tried it yet but I will give it a go, what is the difference between this mode and the regular party mode?

You have a separate rank that you build points up towards to get badges/coins. The points you get for winning can be multiplied by using Spring-man or Ribbon Girl and 1 of whatever 2 weapon is currently on rotation.

Also every 15 minutes there is a double/triple points 5 minute spell with a unique type of game. Some of the ones I played included one punch kills, Rush bar immediately refilling, sparring session (just fights on the sparring ring stage) and teamwork games only.

It's pretty cool, I got quite addicted to raising my rank. Got to 15 before having to put it away for the night.
