If this doesn't actually happen then someone at Fox is going to get blowed up. I've never anticipated a film as much as this before.

It'll probably be released before the end of next year but after watching Mitch Hurwitz's most recent sitcom I'm not too optimistic.

Sounds interesting.
Running Wilde wasn't great but after reading this interview with what Mitch Hurwitz had to put up with at FOX it's easy to understand why the show turned out the way it did. Hopefully he gets more freedom to make the movie!

They say this every year.
Not sure if want, anyway. Partly because of Mitch's recent projects (Sit Down, Shut Up and Running Wilde were both terrible shite) and partly because there are only a very few shows ever that have successfully transitioned to the big screen, and the format of AD doesn't really lend itself to cinema.
Still, if they do make it, it won't meet my (ridiculously high) hopes. But if it comes within 1/100th as good as I'd hope it would be, it'd still be brilliant.
