I suppose, but it's a big risk considering we have a self-"confirmed" wolf in the thread.

Wolves typically try distraction tactics, and this is just making us lose focus and potentially splitting the vote. It might just be that melatonin is resigned to get lynching now, it may be that they want to keep Gorrable safe from the vote, for whatever reason.

It doesn't necessarily mean he is the Alpha. They may just want to keep him alive so we waste more time on him later. They may be double-bluffing and want us to vote for him so that we lynch a human.

Okay. Well, we'll see how it goes.

Dark days, etc. We should definitely lynch melatonin tonight, and have smurphy and Dalax (as the only confirmed humans) rotate as mayor for the rest of the game.

Get Melatonin and knock them down to two kills. Surely the lack of votes today suggests that those who people want to be lynched could be wolves. Also anyone release how much of a strawberry float up it was to lynch Roonmaster and not Melly when they were both in jail :lol:

No, it makes no sense.

He wasn't under particular pressure, he wasn't a cert for the lynch - I, for one, was going to vote Gorrable - and he hasn't any real evidence on him, apart from a general feeling that his post style is a bit wolfy. He isn't the victim of a Red-style bluff either.

Seems odd that he comes out with it when the lynch vote is still fairly undecided. I thought the wolves would be trying to get a clean sweep now - a game where none of them die. With three kills per night and 30 human players left, they were within about 5 days of it, if we kept lynching humans.

The only other possibility I can see if Gorrable isn't the Alpha or at least a wolf is that Melatonin is just screwing with us. If that's the case then :fp:

That's the thing - surely if melatonin was a human player, no matter how disenchanted he was with the game or how bitter he was with the prospect of losing - he wouldn't lie about being the wolf? Unless he thought we were utterly, utterly hopeless and that getting us to lynching him as a human would be funny.

So he might not necessarily be protecting Gorrable; he may just want out. Now part of me thinks we should vote Gorrable and see how the wolves vote - see if they try to swing it towards melatonin.

But, no, we should get melatonin out of the way. Even if he is a human bluffing about being a wolf, you can't have that going on constantly. It's a grave-digger, declaring yourself like that.

Either Gorrable is the Alpha and Melatonin (as a wolf) is trying to save Gorrable by sacraficing himself.

Or Melatonin is a wolf, Gorrable isn't, and Melly is trying to trick us into thinking Gorrable is the alpha by trying to sacrafice himself so they get one more night of 3 kills.

I just re-read that, and surely the only conclusion you can come to from it is "We need to lynch Gorrable!" Like you say, Melatonin wasn't under pressure at all. So why would he do this? Can you seriously see him in the brig with another human and just decide to come out and admit he's a wolf, even though, again like you say, he wasn't a cert for the lynch?

Oh well I can't vote for Melatonin based on that. Even if it did come from his own keyboard.

If it turns out that he is human, then I give up. It's already an uphill struggle, we don't need people strawberry floating about making it harder.

Very possible. Do we even think Melatonin would have even been up for lynching again tomorrow, though, if we'd lynched Gorrable tonight? I'm happy to vote for Melatonin tonight, as I agree it certainly needs to be done. We just better get Gorrable tomorrow!

This "admission" has just created more confusion and led to people over-thinking things, going over on themselves once or twice over and coming up with theories that just get deeper and deeper each time. That's not a human way of playing anyway, so we should just take the only hard evidence we have - that melatonin has admitted to being a wolf - and lynch him.

It's not as clear or as easy as that, but it's probably the more sensible option right now. Fortunately, with smurphy or DaLax as mayor, we can ensure Gorrable doesn't escape if need be.

That's with all the dead players removed, by the way. Poncho seemed to think a few wolves would post on that first night when the roles were given out.

Gorrable is a wolf for sure. I've been saying it for what feels like forever :lol:

Tried to post earlier on, but i'm totally in for the Smurphy/Dalax plan.

Everyone needs to get voting though - we have quite a short window to be honest of getting people out the woodwork, and flushing out the inactive wolves.

Everyone get in on as many votes as you can and be public about it - we can totally do this!

The voting's not really an issue tonight, as whoever doesn't die will be lynched tomorrow.

Edit - then again, everyone seems so certain we need to get rid of Melatonin first, so I guess it does matter.
