Jesus, this is going to be a torrid trip for the Windies at this rate!

Bit of a shame this is the first day/night test, I can see this really dampening the appeal which is a shame as it's so much easier to follow when I can guarantee being near a TV to watch the bulk of it.

The Ashes on prime time would be fantastic (and would rake in the ratings if it ever found itself on terrestrial again).

Demolition job. Unfortunately this doesn't really do us a lot of good, might as well be playing a bunch of schoolkids for all the use it'll be in terms of picking an Ashes team.

How bad must you be if England roll you over for an innings and plenty without a decent 2, 3 or 5. This series could be a complete waste of time.

Wasn't expecting us to bowl them out twice in a day. Can't see this series doing much for our players other than potentially padding some average and helping the newbies establish themselves with some runs (hopefully). You'd think Root and Cook could get a ton each match.

I just caught the last two overs. Is there going to be anywhere to watch the full thing?

It was all on the red button, I'd doubt it'll be broadcast again. Maybe try iPlayer?

Highlight was definitely the guy in the crowd nonchalantly pouching a six one handed whilst holding a pint.

Does anyone else think dropping TRJ for Woakes is a bad idea? If they were going to rest someone, I'm thinking it should have been Stokes. Not for any cricketing reasons, purely for a rest. We know what he can do, he's a cert for the Ashes and maybe a bit of extra pressure needs putting on 2,3 and 5 at this point to see if they'll cut it in the winter.

I've had to pause it in the second over as TMS has started. Another opportunity some to book their ticket down under...

61-3 after the first session. Still, at least Stokes Malan, YJB and Mo should get some decent time with the bat. This can't keep happening.
