There was literally no point whatsoever to the last 40 minutes.

I've figured it out.

Cook has been alerted to Tigasefi's barrage of criticism and has used today to up his average for the year (54.91).

Still, Pakistan will have to see out 185 overs to save the match (weather permitting). If they can do that then fair play.

If they're still batting this time tomorrow then I'll be amazed.

Stokes has limped off. Moeen is going to have to bowl a lot of overs now.

As suspected Stokes is out of the next test.

Seems like Vince and Ballance will keep their places until the end of this series.

Not a great start. Vince and Ballance won't get much so we're in a spot of bother.

This is a cracking test match, so finely balanced at this point.

I reckon 300 all out and the game is fairly even, less than that it's been Pakistan's day. If England can eke out 350 then I'd have them ahead.

Pretty decent day of cricket all in all. The match is very, very finely poised. Nice to see Ballance get some good runs, was starting to look like the player he was before NZ and Australia destroyed his technique.

Fair play to the selectors as I'd have sacked off Moeen and wouldn't have recalled Ballance. Shows what I know.

I'm not yet convinced. A few more good innings would be a sure sign.
