Feels a bit like India are playing a T20 here. They're motoring.

Decent effort but ultimately around 70 short on 2nd innings.

I guess to take some perspective: precious England sides, with the exception of the famous 2012 side, would have been absolutely smashed. That England have pushed them so close in so many games is a feat in and of itself.

Makes it even more galling when they strawberry float it up like they did yesterday having come so close, mind.

Yeah, they were in a winning position here. Could have had a nice deciding match!

They haven't disgraced themselves here this series though. They've competed pretty well.

I suppose I see it as England having given away several good opportunities in the series to properly take charge, which they've not been able to do. If they had it could have easily been 3-1 in their favour.

Which is pretty much what happened in the Ashes isn't it?

Yup. England could have been 2-0 up at the start instead of narrowly losing both games.

I didn't see myself saying this prior to the series but I feel for Crawley. He's given this side numerous solid starts only for the rest of the order to disappoint.

Most of those wickets were at least brilliant bowling by India but holy gooseberry fool what a brutal end for England.

4-1 is a battering but there were several occasions where England could (and should) have taken the series.

At the start of the game I did wonder whether it might be Kohil's year.

Would a Champions League of cricket ever be possible with the various T20 franchises?

I think it unlikely as they probably share too many of the same players/coaches/owners.
