I'm annoyed at how close this is. If England lose I'd rather it be by a landslide as it might encourage them to get their act together. A close loss allows them to palm all their mistakes off.

This test reminds me of that one at Trent Bridge against Australia a few years back. Damn, that was the most tense lunch break ever. I remember the whole crowd just walking round in a daze, totally on edge. Was tremendous when we won a little after lunch but damn was it close.

Always great to win the ones that go to the wire.

Stokes was phenomenal with the ball, every time they turned to him he delivered. It's a shame he's out of the next game at Lord's, obviously Curran will keep his place, I guess they're hoping Woakes will be back.

Let's hope he's infallible.

Oh come on, just because the fruit are low-hanging, doesn't mean they're not tasty.

Looks like Stokes will be banged up for a few months then.

I was hoping this would be a close fun series against one of the stronger touring sides.

Foolish of me.

Well today was an absolute whupping by the moving ball. Jimmy is pretty much unplayable in these kinds of conditions. Only another 15 wickets needed to overtake McGrath.

Oh Jimmy Jimmy... :toot:

A glorious day of swing bowling. With conditions set to be much better tomorrow, England could take control of the series if they bat sensibly. Of course, as any England supporter knows, that isn't often enough the case.
