It's a little closer than I thought but India have space to be as sloppy as they are (16 wides!)

Has anyone checked Jadeja for a portal gun? He's strawberry floating everywhere in the field.

Australia vs. India would be the least edifying final and therefore it's exactly the one I expect.

Strewth, Saffers have absolutely strawberry floated this up. I guess it made sense to bat first given their form in chasing but weather was overcast and seems very bowler friendly.

Aside from the Markram catch, the other 3 dismissals were pretty poor from SA

It's a shame because based on age it's only Markram from the batters likely to make the next 50 over WC.

This unit besides de Kock might be able to stick together until the next Champions Trophy in 2025 and then they look to blood younger talent from then on until their home WC in 2027, I suppose?

Smith and Labuschagne will grind this over the line in ones and twos.

Shame there's no final for us to enjoy today.

Yep, reeeeeeeeeal shame about that. Final would've been a nice way to polish things off. Sad that there isn't one.

Doesn't look like a pitch for a big score so could be very tight if India break the opening pair early.
