Post Broad/Anderson, our bowling unit look like dogshit for years to come! That's a fault.

Both teams bowled poorly to an extent today, but it's ODI cricket and they were bowling on what most analysts said was a road, which ended up being vindicated by the scores.

Also worthy of consideration is that India have the best all around ODI bowling unit in the world and were playing in home conditions.

But you do have a point in saying our bowling needs to improve because our batting will fail from time to time.

Was fully expecting someone in here to have said something when we had them 30 odd for 3.
Good to see that wasn't the case!

We need a fast fast bowler and decent spin if we're to restrict them to anything over here.

How come Jordan didn't play? He's our best death bowler and came on leaps and bounds last year. I'd have him for Ball personally.

We're learning. Maybe one of us should've come in and posted "I bet India will get them comfortably from here" and the result would've been oh-so different...

Hales out of the rest of the tour. Billings will hopefully fill his spot as he has done recently.

Thought those first two balls of the last over had lost it. Well done to Woakes for pulling it back.

Went to the toilet at work and loaded up the start of the Big Bash game that was starting. Just seen Mitchell Johnson bowl 4-2-3-3

So this just happened in the Big Bash... I had to film the replay. The replays don't show quite how simple the caught and bowled was though. Possibly the easiest catch I've ever seen dropped at this level

Super over in the Big Bash semi-final. Ridiculous final 6 overs...

Well that was all rather comfortable in the end and not what we are used to with England at all. The bowlers really earned today’s victory, they utterly outfoxed India’s batsmen which left ours with a relatively straightforward job to get over the line. I like the fact that Billings has basically become our first reserve should any of our top 6 be unable to play, he’s got talent. Tremendous to see Morgan leading from the front again. Looks like he’s back in the kind of form he showed during the NZ/Aus tours of 2015 where he averaged almost 70.

The only other thing is Roy’s going to get targeted by spinners in the Champions Trophy unless he makes a swift improvement. I could totally see India opening with Jadeja to dislodge him early.

Yet more brilliant work from our T20I bowlers, Jordan in particular.
