You know better than to judge a situation by that small a sample size Drummy! He's a good player and is always going to be more useful in the fourth innings of a game. He was also slightly unlucky with the decision when he batted.
Indeed. It doesn't really matter tbh because Woakes will be back in next test provided he's recovered from his side strain.
I actually felt Moeen looked a far better and more dangerous spinner today than Dawson.
Quoting as you're probably the only one interested - breaking news is that apparently Rabada may be suspended from the next test for giving Ben Stokes a send-off today. Must've been a helluva send-off...

Really? Rabada has never struck me as that kind of player. LOL if true though, their bowling attack will be even more toothless.
I've got my third game of the season tomorrow so I won't be able to follow the action.
Edit: just seen the Rabada ban has been confirmed on BBC news.
Luke Fletcher just got smashed in the head by a straight drive in his follow through. Looked horrible Players nearby look like footballers do when someone breaks their leg and Samit Patel looks like he's in tears - hopefully just a lot of blood and a couple of stitches needed.
Edit: He walked off the pitch so I'm assuming he's okay so will post the video. If it turns out to be more serious, I'll remove.
Pretty dull day by the sounds of it. Bat until tea tomorrow and then we've got 4 sessions to bowl them out. Should be able to get a lead of 400 by then.
Cooky can hopefully notch up century number 31 along the way.
Great day at Lord's yesterday, even if it wasn't the most exciting day of test match cricket, especially when we were batting (although better than we are batting this morning).
Sat in row 1 so I was in the sun all day (managed to avoid any severe sunburn!) got there a bit late so missed the first two wickets, but a lovely place to watch cricket!
"SA openers dig in" as the headline when the game was barely 9 overs old - top application of mockers by the Beeb there, they don't factor this value into the licence fee!
