Ballance has been ruled OUT of the third test. Crumbs.

Ballance out, Tom Westley in. Other than that there doesn't look to be any change to the team. No Woakes still and Dawson is still in.

That innings by Kaur yesterday :datass: 171 off 115 balls

I thought the Aussie were a dead cert for this WC.

Yes, very impressive. Hopefully the women are able to figure out where they went wrong against India last time.

I do think that England has the strongest batting line up in tournament so as long as they keep their heads and Heather Knight doesn't run anyone out I'd say we're slight favourites.

So happy for the women! That was a fantastic tournament and so good to see England win the WC at a sold out Lords. Excellent.

I'm abroad for a month from Wednesday and won't be able to watch any of the 3rd or 4th tests. How are my chances of avoiding all news and just downloading the highlights on Sky Go when I get home?

Excellent stuff yesterday, looked like India might win quite easily at one stage. Great final few overs!

This is rather wonderful, Murray Lachlan Young's Ode to TMS.

Third test tomorrow.

Call me crazy but I'm quite optimistic about Westley at 3. He plays there for Essex, and his modest batting average has increased from about 34 to 37 in the last.couple of season so he's obviously improving. Despite stepping up to Div 1 this season he's still averaging 53 from 11 innings with 2 tons and 2 halves bit as we know, runs at county doesn't guarantee anything.

The bad news is we're likely to retain Dawson from what I've read, and Woakes is going to miss the entire series and potentially the WI series too.

Dawson :fp: Samit is never getting a recall is he? He's only got an average of 67 and a score of 257 not out.

Listening to the TMS thing from Radio 5 last night. I absolutely love that program.

I think so, although I think the last time I was at the Oval was the last series against SA and Amla batted all day :dread:

:slol:

I'm guessing based on the weather both teams are likely to want to field first...
