Can anyone explain to me what the absolute strawberry float Westley was doing?

Brain was definitely scrambled from the lack of running communication that was obviously there. Horrendous shot to get out to at number 3 in a test match after conceding a first innings deficit... How many matches last five days these days? Dig in for tea (both literally and metaphorically).

Umpires now allowing wickets off no-balls.

So what do we think? Any hope of an England win from this point?

We need a min. of 200 run lead so these 2 need to stick around until lunch to have a chance.

It's on a knife-esge isn't it. 21 overs tomorrow until the new ball, so it's going to be difficult. First they're going to have to get in again, then navigate the new ball. Scoring is going to be slow going tomorrow until the back end of the second session.

All 3 results are still on the table which is very refreshing going into a fourth day. Tomorrow is going to be properly tricky but as you've said these two need to get in and get to lunch. If they can do that whilst adding 60-70 runs they can start opening up midway into the second session when the new ball gets to 25 overs old.

In good news, those Aussies are suffering in Bangladesh just like us before them. Perhaps there isn't much of a gulf in quality between us after all.

Their batting is certainly nothing to write home about. It's going to hinge on how English batsmen play express pace on hard, bouncy wickets.

Yeah I have the Aus/Bang game on at the moment. Hopefully Bangladesh can finish off the innings here (8 down and Bang just dropped an absolute sitter of a catch), get a lead of 80-odd and punish the Aussies second innings.

I'm fairly certain around 70% of Shannon Gabriel's deliveries are no balls.

Graft another 45-50 and England will be favourites. The pitch is doing a bit. Could really use the Moeen show here.

He's incredible at the moment, comes in at 8 and nearly scores a ton.

He asks and he receives!

Have to applaud England here. We complain all the bleeding time about their second innings collapses so its only right to appreciate when they bat well. Couple of helpful drops along the way but overall very good. Could have been even better if Stokes and Mo hadn't played a couple of hare-brained shots to get out. Shame that 6 players made half-centuries and nobody kicked on but difficult to complain when you rack up almost 500. You'd certainly settle for that every innings!

Jimmy and Broad should be fresh from a day and a half of rest, hopefully they can get a key wicket or two tonight.

That's a ridiculous score for a second innings. Even more so when you realise nobody made 100

This seems like an incredibly cunty thing to do.

Pembroke County cricket clubs Carew and Cresselly have fallen out over an early declaration that decided the Division One title.

Carew declared on 18-1 after just 2.3 overs and Cresselly reached that target in two overs to win the game.

However, Cresselly could not gain enough bonus points to go above Carew, who claimed the title by one point.

The declaration was within the laws of the game but it has been questioned whether the decision was in the right spirit.

I don't have any ideas on what could be done about that. Its incredibly unsporting but entirely within the rules. I wonder if TMS will get word of it?

Not a great day thus far. These two seen as if they're going to take the game away and those darn Aussies have actually made a good start to their second innings. :(
