ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission is a brand new platformer, developed exclusively for use with PS VR. Take control of ASTRO the captain BOT and go on an epic VR rescue mission to save your fellow crew who are dispersed all over space.

The game takes full advantage of PS VR to invigorate the platforming genre with gameplay unfolding around you in 360 degrees. Your character reacts instantly and your jumps are ultra precise thanks to the increased depth of PS VR. While seated, moving your body lets you lean around corners to get a better view on the action and discover secret paths. You can also use your body to weave through the scenery and create a path for your character.

You will be running and jumping through city skylines, lush jungles, dark caves, and golden sandy beaches in 20 unique levels that all take advantage of PS VR. Each level features original traps and enemies, and contains 8 lost Bots for you to save.

As a new adopter of PSVR, I'm adding this to my list of games to get. Looks really cool.

Nice. The platformer part of the Playroom VR was fantastic, if short, fun. Glad to see it seems to be fleshed out to a much larger game.

Will pick up this week at some point I think.

Been swayed by the reviews and videos to pick this up.

Decided to try Monster-Shop even though I've never used them before as they're selling for just £19.99 (cheapest I've seen elsewhere is closer to £25):

Think so, yeah.

It really appeals to me as I don't think it looks like the sort of game you'd ever get motion sickness playing. Plus it's only £25 for a seemingly-AAA title on a major platform.

Did you try the mini game on Playroom VR? Tried it for the first time last night and thought it was spot on so a full game version is a definite for me. Just have to wait till payday though :x

Seriously, how the shitting hell do you create an account and how the strawberry float do you add the game to your basket.

Ordered this today. Loved robot rescue on the demo disc and an looking forward to more of the same. Great to see a steady trickle of well received psvr games, hope it's enough to sustain Sony's interest.

Price has gone up to £29.99 now. Looks like I'll be getting it off the PS Store digitally.

Shuhei Yoshida has stated that deeper VR experience s are on their way.

I think they've been hesitant to really commit to big budget VR games until they've figured out what works and what does. Why blow money on huge VR AAA as games when you're unsure whether the mechanics will be well received.

Like you've said, the demo disc was to guage feedback. People really enjoyed the Astro Not demo and the mechanics were well received, so they've turned it into a fully fledged adventure.

I think my Amazon order is going to end up delayed. Showing as it of stock on their website and not showing as dispatched in my orders. Disappointing...
