Asus Windows tablet /netbook only showing battery symbol whe

Some help here would be great. Got a tablet which connects to a keyboard to turn into a netbook thing. It runs windows 8.

I restarted it to install updates but it got stuck for over an hour on step 1. I turned it off.

Now when I try and turn it on it just shows the battery symbol for a couple of second.

Could do with some help here as it's not mine.

It's changed to that now. Hopefully it works.

I would say the battery died while updating so it is try to roll back the update to before it started them.
