Because firstly this isn't a thread about the biggest movie of all time. This is about the first film since Titanic to, erm, sink Titanic.

Secondly this is about modern-day takings, not takings since we first started counting them.

Why didn't you say that, rather than just declaring it "completely meaningless", then? There's no reason to demean the guy.

You're a vicious old queen sometimes, Gaz. :(

Fair point. Sorry Rightey, sorry Karlprof.

Hi Taffy!

No offence taken.

But apparently Titanic with inflation adjusted is still ahead of Avatar, they mentioned it on the news today at the same time as the fact about GWTW.

Just contributed my 7.75 to its total gross last night. 8-)
IMAX 3D. Spectacular. Would go again if it weren't so expensive.

Saw it last night, it was a glorified Pocahontas/Last Samurai movie but my god did it look incredible

Watching this for the first time tonight. Not sure why it's taken me so long, but there you go.

I'm sure good times will be had by all.

But strawberry float me, ten squids to go to the poxy pictures? You're 'avin a laff mate. Doesn't even include the glasses.
