I mean even before the end, Gamora got thrown off a cliff.

How in God's name did Avatar make so much money though :dread:

It was the first new 3D movie and they were charging a premium to see it.

The exchange rate at the time helped too I think.

Both avatar and Titanic have had multiple releases at the cinema I believe, which pushed up their totals.

Yeah I guess, but I didn't know who that one was and I wasn't convinced she had died. The baddie that threw her off the cliff had himself been killed earlier on but then changed reality or something and came back to life.

I guess if you're a fan then you know what powers everyone has and maybe there are some rules I don't know, but to a layman like me I didn't think a simple fall was enough to kill a superhero (Spiderman took a really nasty fall early in the film and brushed it off like it was nothing). So I expected her to turn up later on and forgot about her when she didn't.

Gamora's not a super hero.

She's just green.

Ah wait she's sexy too. Just a sexy green, like that alien bird in Star Trek and Kermit.

I thought the Edinburgh scenes were pretty amazing. At first I thought it was Glasgow (which I frequent a lot)! It really made Avengers feel more real seeing them in locations like that.

Obviously not that much if you thought Edinburgh’s Old Town was Glasgow. :slol:

I jest, they filmed here as well.

It wasn't that shop front, that street definitely looked like Edinburgh. But the square with the statue looked like Glasgow city centre and the train station looked similar to Glasgow Central lol.
