Okay guys so I bought the avermedia live portable

As posted in GGC: Are you using a HDCP stripper or HDCP-stripping driver with the device over HDMI?

I don't know what either of those two things are. it's just plugged in exactly as shown in the video.

The box basically converts a component signal to hdmi. I think.
