They definately should be restricted on night 1, otherwise you lose 1,2 or 3 of the best players in one night and it makes it so difficult to come back from that. Although yeah the don't post and die rule should always be in place. For everybody, including the roles and the mafia/vamps/wolves.

The other rule that works very well is to restrict all discussion of the game to the thread, if there's any evidence that anyone is contacting each other, other than just contacting the gamemaster outside of the thread they shouild be godkilled. That means that if anyone is seered the only way you can tell them about it is in the thread so it puts yourself at risk to divulge the information. It also leads to everyone having a better chance at finding out who is more suspicious due to their posting style as they have to post and what not.

Either way this was a really fun game and thanks for running it Sykes!

In the anonymous game, the Mafia should be allowed to kill whoever they want from the get go.

Anyway, people complaining about the Mocky/TAP alliance really shouldn't be. It's incredibly rare that this sort of set up could happen (though in a game where the Count chooses his vamps it does increase the odds, somewhat), but the Vamps should have been much more proactive at shooting down these suggestions early on, as I'm sure villagers like DML and Oh Teh Noes would have jumped on the "why can we trust these guys" brigade, and it would have essentially been over before it started, leaving Tiarny trying to get his seers across in the thread.

As someone who's played a decent amount of real life Mafia, I'd have to say Mori's seriously proactive approach, while fun to watch, was semi foolish. Though as he's going to be a prime seer target you may as well do what you can, I suppose.

The next game should be more like the real life game, I think. Perhaps even ban PMs, even between Vampires (just like the real game, but you know who your fellow vamps are). I'm sure in the anonymous game you could restrict the secondary accounts features so they can't send PMs to anyone other than the narrator. This would make things a lot more interesting. Also, the Mayor role should go, and be left with in thread voting, where everyone is up for the lynch all the time.

Some brave changes ahead for this game, I sense.

Quite funny how the Vamps are whining about the way we won.

I noticed something on day 3 i think it was i had to use a captcha to sign in because apparently i had too many log in attempts when it was the first time i had tried to log in that day. I think some of the vamp's might have been trying to get in my account and shoot Mockmaster/Tap. I'm looking at you Zenigame! :)

I fully blame Mori for this and he's going down in the next game.

Inactives were targeted at the start of the game...

I think being called inactive after a day is pretty damn harsh, the second night when I was killed I literally had no time to post anything relevant but was off work for the next 4 days. I'd read the thread the night before and was going to go though it all that evening but by that point it was too late :(

This thread has been the most I've ever posted on GRCade and will probably not be topped.

Until the next game.

Just got back from holiday to find I was killed by vigilante :fp: still better than being culled for inactivity. Just skimmed the thread at time of death, nice to know I was an areamof investigation but most people didn't want me shot

Because I was able to play the first few days, I did mention it in the sign up thread, besides I thought I'd be lynched before I left!
