I suppose it's an agree to disagree situation, but it just doesn't compute with me.

But I never said that, I claimed the TAP/Mocky partnership was excellent, which it was. Yes it gave us an advantage, but in any sort of game or competition you'd be foolish not to use an advantage given to you, otherwise what's the point of the special roles? Anyway if you think about it TAP named two wolves, we actually had Luke down as a wolf within the first day and only left him alone because of the whole Mori situation. Goat, Wiggles and Songwriter were all killed because of the work of the villagers as a whole, not just TAP, Mocky and their inner circle. If the wolves had been winning and we had the opportunity to have a partnership of this sort then would anyone be moaning then?

Also whilst I join these games purely to have fun, it was quite nice to win for the first time whilst doing so.

I'm disappointed the vampire pricks didn't target the inactives at the start of the game, such is the custom.

I fully blame Mori for this and he's going down in the next game.

How could the wolves lose?

Terrible show.

My enjoyment comes from winning. As a villager with no role it's really hard to have fun without being wrong (which I was) and most of the time you're just left in the dark about everything and bored trying to guess work people as nobody ever talks to you about the game.

I had fun at the beginning because Mori was talking to me and I finally thought I had a little network to enjoy the game in, then it turns out he was an asshole vampire and I got tossed into the cooking pot of other villagers trying to do everything I could to not get myself killed. After that point when suspicion was on me, I knew the only way I could get enjoyment was to win. I latched onto the Tiarny/Mocky bandwagon and tried helping as much as I can while also doing as much as I could to make sure the vamps wouldn't kill me as I could still be suspicious.

Before that you said "While some might moan..." which led me to believe you were in the same mind set as MCN and StayDead. I'm not commenting on the actual mayoral swapping mechanic itself (although I do think it's completely gooseberry fool), rather the attitude that apparently it's more fun to win a pointless game while doing nothing than it is to lose while having all sorts of crazy gooseberry fool go down. For example, just how much fun was the game before the swapping malarky got put into place? No one knew exactly what was going on, rumours were flying around, people were dying etc. The only reason it remained at all mysterious was because even after Mori was dead, DML wouldn't back down in his accusations against MM . Yes, it would settle down after a few days anyway, but not to the extent it did.

StayDead, like I said before, it's an agree to disagree situation. It just doesn't make sense to me, whereas it obviously does for you, and that's fair enough.

I didnt think their was enough evidence on him.. if you had told me something like you were contact with a seer and you were 100% sure he was a vamp i might have. =) but then i would wanna know who your seer is.

Winning is fun. If you're not playing to win, you're ruining it for everyone who is.

Watching other people win isn't fun for me. I tried my best to get involved, but even when TAP wasn't running, people still voted for him anyway!

How is that fair in the slightest?

It was even better when the people who didn't vote for TAP were then suspicious :fp:

We're not in primary school any more, Noes. Not everyone has to have a go of the swings. The Villager role is almost always useless and boring anyway. If you're going to bitch at anyone, bitch at Sykes for not giving you a more exciting role.

Can I just say that I didnt think Mock was a Vamp. All I was saying was that it was merely possible that he could be - and could at least be questioned.

I'm not saying that everybody has to have a go, but it would be nice if everybody voted for people who were actually running, instead of a theoretical candidate.

The Mocky/TAP partnership was gamebreaking and is the reason the game only lasted little more than a week. I found it dull, but that wasn't the fault of Psykes. The most entertaining bits were StayDead and DML, because they were both hilariously bad.

Would you rather play, I dunno, Mario Kart against someone you could easily win against or against someone who challenged you? Similarly, would you rather play a game of TF2 where you stayed in the base and did nothing all game, or would you like to reel involved? It's nothing to do with being in primary school, MCN, it's just dull having nothing to do when you've signed up for a forum game.

So let me get this straight, what youre saying here is this last AYA game was like watching TAP and Mocky play soggy biscuit and then Wiggles had to eat it?

Is that how Wiggles caught Chlamydia off TAP?

It's always a bit difficult when you get the villager role to actually contribute enough to not get killed off for being inactive while still trying to make relevant points so you don't get lynched for being useless.

Being a villager is always rubbish, but this time due to how good the MockTAP connection turned out to be, there was basically nothing anyone who wasn't in the circle of friendship could do, which, when coupled with Sykes' "Post or Die" rule basically resulted in a lot of "Posting to stay alive lol" posts.

Why are you angry dear? "Because of a forum vampire game" :x

Anyway, I have never played this but reading the rules, it seems pretty hard for the vampires to win?
