I would say in this scenario it was an incredibly difficult situation because the perfect game lined itself up for the Villagers. Very rarely are you able to have a Seer 100% reveal himself and be untouchable. There was a massive amount of luck involved in being able to set up that kind of sanctum - its pretty much the only way you could ever have an untouchable totally revealed seer.

I must admit not knowing what was going on in the sanctum was frustrating, even more so knowing that I was A Villager and therefore could never be accepted - so that just left me to try and act up badly to try and stop the Vamps killing me and try and dissuade the Villagers enough to stop myself being lynched. I had no bearing on the final result.

I did work pyxl out though - so that was something I wasn't totally 'crap' at thankyouverymuch.

As I said it was just unfortunate how easily the Villagers got hold of all the information they needed to win the game. If you work out who both your seers are, your vigilantes as well - you have won.

I still don't understand how Mocky, despite only being a villager, managed to somehow get in with all the special roles. Did he get seered first, and the Seer just decided to trust him even though he could still very feasibly have been the Count?

Yes - but he was in contact with TAP. Once he was 'chosen' - sure as hell no-one else would be.

Pretty much.

I think he was TAP's first Seer.

Thats what I said all along. It WAS possible. Not very likely but possible. Why does that make me crap? Because he killed a Vampire? Woo-bloody-hoo. I haved a couple of live games where exzactly that has happened to help the bad guys win. But I never said I thought he definitely was!

Yeah, TAP seereed him, and Mori the next night, so the only person he could tell was Mocky, it was a risk, but he had to take it. If he died the next night without telling Mocky then the information would have been lost. Which would have been real bad as Mori was doing well on the 'make people think your a villager' game he was playing.

So it really was just the luck of the draw. Imagine how different the game would've been if Mocky actually was the Count

I'm just saying, you can still play a role as a villager.

I let DarkRitual know early on that I was the village Priest and he was also in constant contact with the special roles. His dossiers were not only designed to inform and recap but also influence the vamps by him purposefully paying less attention to the special roles.

He was a also a villager and made himself extremely useful.

If you're one of the lucky few chosen ones to join the special circle.

I've just shown how you can get chosen.

DarkRitual proved himself useful and was contacted.

If you just post once a day with 'I'm running for Mayor' then you aren't really putting much effort in.

DarkRitual also wasn't on Mocky's list of confirmed humans :shifty: You were playing a very dangerous game...

Actually, I contacted him originally telling him that I knew the identity of the Priest and built up my level of trust with him from there.

I know, it's why I've never really found them "fun" (well, and the fact that I'm always killed off pretty early for being suspicious :fp: )

Still, at the moment I'm still trying to notice people's regular posting patterns in these games, so maybe I'll be better at it next time.

I would also implore the people that rarely ever posted and were villagers, not to sign up next time please.

I happy enough playing the game, if you are not happy being a Villager and give up halfway through the game why sign up?

I think in future games the vamps shouldn't be restricted to whothey kill at any point, but they shouldn't be able to kill three villagers in one night early on. Also, the 'don't post/vote and die' rule should be in place from day one.
