Harry is definitely playing a good game but the last few days I think he'd screwed himself over. He may get to the very end but I can't see a way he will not get picked off in a final vote. At least if they do it the same way as last year.

The recruitments continue to strawberry float the game up. How is any Faithful supposed to get Ross as a traitor when he's been legit Faithfully 90% of the game.

Agreed. As a faithful you don't really want to find traitors at the start because they'll just recruit. Same number of traitors left but you now have no clue who one of them is.

The show needs to bring in some special roles, less wolf recruitment, and maybe be more flexible with letting the game run naturally rather than x number of days.

The problem with that is that they contractually have to produce a certain number of episodes as part of each seasons commissioning process.
That's why the game is so heavily manipulated to keep the balance. They can't afford for it all to be wrapped up with multiple episodes to go.

EDIT: I do agree special roles would spice it up a bit, but I can see them leaving that for a season or two yet.

I said to the missus they need a secret vigilante and a seer.

It would add some depth to the game and would add extra suspicion onto people to make for more entertaining TV

I also don't really like the constant recruitment, keeps the game too heavily weighted towards the traitors.

I didn't watch season 1, but am really into this so may have to go back and watch it.

If Jaz or Jasmine get banished, which seems fairly likely, it’s hard to see how the Traitors don’t win. They will murder after that and it will be 3v3. There won’t even be a need to sacrifice a traitor in that case as the faithful can’t win a vote to continue. Feel like Ross might be the spanner in the works that ruins in for them though.

I suspect Harry wants all the money to himself. He won’t want to take a full team of traitors into the endgame. But yeah, I can see Ross thinking the same.

It's a fundamental flaw with the format. I really enjoy it but it's in no way a fair game, you just have to watch it for the entertainment value rather than being invested in the outcome.

One thing they could do to hit the set number of episodes is not tie each episode to a full day. Did the game end early? Draw out one day into a double episode in editing.

They could make things much more difficult for the production, to please a few of us gamer geeks. But they’re getting millions of viewers for what they are doing, so I wouldn’t hold your breath.

The problem they might face is people being more aware of strategies like deliberately not banishing people you think are traitors in future series.

The flaws in the format will become more obvious with each series. We've already got it now where the traitors basically can't lose with three episodes still to go.

I expect they will continue to tweak the format and maybe recruitment issue will be fixed next time. They did fix a flaw from S1 where the last group to breakfast never contained a traitor.

The disappointment we didn't get a Ross avenging Diane endgame.

The gaslighting and blatant lying by Harry and Andrew at the end, I'm amazed Ross didn't just blurt it out and tell everyone. I wonder if they have anything in place to prevent people doing that, or maybe they're all better at accepting it's just a game than I'd be.

Odd number of episodes, just 9 for S2 of Aus if I'm reading that right.

When they swear to be a Traitor, they must offer to protect and never reveal Traitors.

I'm not surprised that Jasmine has been banished.

Poor Mollie if she finds out that Harry is a traitor. She trusts him 100% as a faithful.
