I bet it will get another series, but the players will be so much more clued-up it could spoil it.

Amazing that nearly everybody voted for a traitor in episode 6 (even the traitors!) but not a single person did in episode 7. WereWilf kept a very low profile.

Ep 8 was decent, good to have one where everyone isn’t in tears, well except for Theo who I think cries when someone says his name.

Wilf seems to have made a bit of a blunder in the dinner game, it’s just an obviously weird move to not to tell the truth in that scenario. Maddy I think made a mistake, it seems to me the only reason you wouldn’t take the money in the position she was in is if she was a traitor and fancied herself to get a bigger cut.

Amanda continues to absolutely crush it, she has to be careful of cockiness though, and Wilf of course

Yeah, Wilf is clearly someone not to trust.

First crack in Amanda's game, even if she does have rationale to back her vote up. As I said previously, getting rid of the leaders is their best play, so Amos was a good choice. Fay and Hannah should be the next to go, followed by Kieron.

He has been excellent though. To turn the game from almost certainly being kicked out to being one of the most trusted was some play. He feels a bit erratic though like he always thinks he has to be doing something to stay in control. Amanda seems a bit more comfortable just adapting to stuff as it comes up. Getting everyone to point at Maddy was very subtly done and they were quite unlucky to have the round table cancelled. I think Wilf needs Amanda to win but I can see him getting nervous and going for her. Problem is when there's two of you left if one goes for the other that person has no incentive not to just expose them. I wonder how that would play out. If I was Amanda and at the roundtable Wilf went for me I would say anything to make sure he didn't win.

Ep 9

Round table was tense as strawberry float, this is some emotional battery these people are going through, the next couple of episodes are going to be very charged.

I love Maddy saying Aaron again with the reason, because of the evidence I’ve said 5 times now. I think she actually thinks she has evidence and she cannot fathom why nobody pays any attention to it. She can’t understand that some random gooseberry fool she just thought of one time isn’t actually hard fact and it’s amazing

Amanda is starting to slip a little, very surprised she didn’t realise her going from Theo 100% to voting for him would look dodgy as strawberry float. Both Hannah and Fay seemed to pick up on it. Hannah seems the best Faithful left as she is starting to ask the right questions and pick up on logical inconsistencies. It’s unfortunate she likes Wilf and as a result he can lead her where he wants.

Yeah I thought Amanda slipped up by going for Theo at the round table.

Needs to be Faye for the wolf night kill.

What an episode. Wilf is playing an absolute blinder - that could have so easily backfired on him.

Great move picking Kieran as well.

Catching up so I'm posting without reading the thread. It's psychologically fascinating how familiar this all feels watching it, both having played as a wolf and a human and having run a game.

Put a random group of people in a room playing mafia and we all develop the same strategies. I was initially unsure if it was the right move telling the viewer who the traitors were but I've been sold. It's basically watching a PM conversation.

1x05- I loved them all laughing when Maddy voted for Will again.

I think for season 2 they need some additional roles though. And it was weird having an equivalent of the lovers without the additional punishment that if one dies, they both do.

I mentioned this in the GRCade WhatsApp, but the second series really needs special roles.

Imagine if there was one seer and one vigilante? It'll add to the dynamics.

They need to hire DML as a consultant.

To prepare for his consultancy role, DML should run a game here

Holy strawberry float episode 10

Wilf taking on the part of the games villain like it's the role of a lifetime.

He can make excuses but he has single handedly stitched up Amanda there. He is leading this group on a merry dance. Responsible for taking out both Alissa and Amanda. If he wins the whole thing he's played an absolute blinder but he'll look like a bit of a banana split doing it.

Claudia's reaction when she came in to the traitor room was priceless.

I still don't get how the end game is expected to play out:
- Does the game end when there are three players left or more/less than that?
- If the game ends at say three players, is it then impossible for a faithfull to win more than 1/3rd the pot?

It seems like if you are a traitor then there isn't any reason to keep other traitors around.

For season 2 they also need to remove the loophole that Nun mentioned a while back where the traitors are never last to breakfast.

They've had episodes where they've been the last to breakfast.

I swear the only morning a traitor has been last for breakfast was the night where they failed to recruit Alex?

I could be wrong but it just feels notable when Amos is last down for breakfast almost every morning

This is such an entertaining game, what were the chances that Will would get the casting vote against another traitor again?. I loved it

They haven't been clear about the rules (which I find a bit annoying obviously  ) but it sounds like the traitors don't need to equal or outnumber the faithful, only "be there at the end". Which means the motiviation for killing isn't to reduce the faithful's numbers, its only to help avoid banishment (by killing people who might get you banished).

The way recruitment has been offered basically seems like a way to ensure the traitors will last the whole run of the show, so it does seem unfair on the faithful. Alex made an obvious mistake in not accepting and got rightly killed for it, and now another traitor has gone the recruitment has been powered up to make it almost certain (it's literally accept or be killed so of course you would accept).

With 2 traitors and 2 episodes left it would appear the faithful have to banish a traitor in the next episode to be in for a chance, but I get the feeling if they don't there will be some "twist" that gives them a path to victory in the final episode.

I agree that as a traitor you would want to banish the other traitors.

I think a good winning strategy for a traitor would be to pick out a handful of trusted faithful, reveal to them in confidence you are a traitor, and promise them a share of the winnings to work together to eliminate the other players - faithful and other traitors included.

Wilf is such a hypocrite talking about how he can't trust the others when he stabbed them both in the back.

Best line was "what does nimble mean"
