Binge watched season one with Mrs Sprout.

Absolutely loved it! Very entertaining.

Well played by Will, but Kieran played a blinder at the end.
Felt like his move was close to the line of acceptable, i.e. in the spirit of the game. Will was caught out with the ultimatum, had he not been forced to recruit, he would have won. This makes me feel that the rules are somehat changed on the fly.

Looking forward to season two! We may hold fire a little, as I really enjoyed binge watching it and would prefer to wait until after a few more episodes are available to do the same with season two.

Ep4:
Not a lot of tension in that episode as I think it was obvious Ash was being banished no matter what. As soon as they chose to save Andrew, it also meant game over for Meg as she was the only one that could be killed. When they realise Meg was killed over Paul, it SHOULD make everyone realise he has to be a traitor too. They should have possibly made the reaction to realising Paul survived the cliffhanger.

I really thought people would be better at playing the game this year, but aside from Paul, the traitors have shown no sign of being remotely good at their role, and none of the faithful seem to be playing a good game either. I think Diane would be a good traitor. Would also make her relationship with Ross pretty interesting.

Why does nobody ever point out traitors are picked by the production team and you’re not looking for ‘sneaky’ personalities? The amount of times people say “I don’t have the personality to be a traitor”, argh! It has to be getting said and edited out, right?

To be honest I think Paul's over confidence and cockyness will be his downfall, he is acting like the puppet master pulling all the strings but I hope he survives as he is great entertainment.

Agreed.

I am not sure everything thinks the Traitors have put two people in, I think because Ash went and now Meg, Paul will be safe.

I think Paul had to be condemned, obviously it would have worked out better if he was saved but apart from two people I think everyone is on his side.

The point is, the traitors only have a choice of murdering Paul or Meg. Out of those two, why the hell would they choose Meg instead of getting rid of the stronger player? Only one reason. Therefore everyone will realise Paul is a traitor.

I don't think having Paul survive means he is a traitor in the eyes of the other players, by that logic is gym man a traitor as he was saved? There could have been 0-4 traitor's in the dungeon at the end of the day. If they only had one traitor in there would that mean the suspicions went onto who ever replaced Paul?

This is where I'm at. Think the traitors made a huge unforced error in putting any of their own in the dungeon at all.

Paul is very entertaining and I hope goes the distance, but his hubris will be his downfall. I did enjoy seeing his reaction to not being saved.

It will raise suspicion sure and getting rid of meg which they have to do would cause issues for the Traitors as people suspect her. I still don't think people will instantly turn on Paul though expecially after he voted for Ash twice now.

It's a set number of episodes per series so it's 100% fixed by the producers changing the rules to rebalance the game as it goes. Traitor's winning? They'll stop them from killing for a night. Traitors losing? They'll get them to recruit.

The best way to play as a faithful is not even to catch traitors imo, because they'll just get replaced to take the game down to the set finale anyway. You're better off getting onside with someone you suspect to be a traitor so they will keep you in to the end, and then turning on them in the finale.

Other things that are clearly meddled with by the producers are the challenges (notice how every one of them supposedly goes down to seconds to spare, despite the odds against it) and the order votes are revealed at the roundtable.

It's all done for the drama though, so I find it better to just accept it's not really a fair game and just enjoy it!

It's nothing to do with who was in the dungeon. Andrew being saved is nothing to do with the traitors. It's public knowledge that the traitors are left with a straight choice: murder Paul or Meg. The sensible thing would be to take out the stronger player. The only reason not to, is if he is a traitor.

Though there's no way they could have known this, the best thing the faithful could have done last night would have been to banish Meg. Then there could be no murder, and they would know Paul and Ash were definitely traitors.

Why are they almost all so bad at this? It's very hard to be a faithful, as you get very little in the way of evidence, and it's mostly hoping for lucky guesses. The fact Paul survived and Meg was murdered should have raised WAY more questions than it did. It has to be in the editing, as that went from Anthony accusing him at the round table, Jaz asking if he had anything to say in his defence, which he completely dodged, and then nobody else was shown saying a thing.

If I was in there, I'd probably also be a bit suspicious of Ross at this point as he's been the one that brought up Sonja and Jonny. Obviously not proof of being a traitor, since he's not one, but when you don't have much to go off, stuff like that should be considered. Instead they're all just focused on who's got a dodgy personality.

I was hoping beyond hope that they would decide to banish Meg.

The fallout would have been utter carnage. It would have been a legendary strawberry float up from a team of Traitors/Wolves in any game, but this would have been televised!

I think if meg went the obvious choice would have been Ash, she would have been voted out as a traitor and less heat would be on Paul

Episode 5 - why did they say it was a catapult, when it was clearly a trebuchet?

The Faithful are hopeless. If Anthony was a Traitor, why would he be so rude?! No Traitor would ever like that.

Episode 6

I feel so sorry for Jaz, he seems like the only sane man in an insane world! He has Paul nailed and seemed on the edge of clocking Harry too.

I want Harry to win at the moment. He's playing well and comes across very likeable. With his slicked back hair, gold chain and white clothes he also looked completely like a mafia member at the round table

I brought this up and my partner made fun of me for it. Now she is going to feel silly when I tell her about this!
