Yeah, it's much easier to find the wolves when you're playing in person. Although I've only played it when everyone playing is drunk so that might affect things

I’m actually really enjoying it. I didn’t expect them to all have mental breakdowns on day 3 though

It is unexpectedly vicious as well. Fair play to that Imran chap for actually being sensible and appreciating it’s just a game.

I suppose living it out it’s natural it becomes more intense but nevertheless some of the do seem to live on the edge rather.

I think it’s a good job Imran went in episode 3, because Theo was so wound up by him he seemed likely to kill him.

After the episode 4 teaser, I’m looking forward to seeing BMX Prat’s reaction when Purple Head reveals the relationship.

strawberry float me this show is hysterical.

That John fella is some prick

BBC can't possibly have predicted how insane these people would be.

Nah, screw Matt. He’s an idiot, effortlessly duped by a pretty girl. He said, after what was revealed, his defences are now up. They should have been from the start. I laughed out loud when one of them said, “We’ve got to treat this like a game.” It IS a strawberry floating game. And Tom is the biggest tool of the lot. So confident in his ability to read people like a book, while being consistently wrong.

I’m enjoying it, but having a cliffhanger on the final vote isn’t on. Fair enough if it’s a streamed series and you want the viewer to binge onto the next episode straight away, but not for a scheduled broadcast show. That’s just shitty.

I also love how Maddie is right but for the wrong reasons. No one is paying attention to her

Haha, yes, I do like watching her - she seems terrified all the time.

It was a bit much that one of the songs tonight was about wolves. Just knowingly rubbing salt into DML’s wounds.

Some of these people are so bullish about their skills and knowing how games are played. I can't believe none of them have picked up on the fact that Tom and Alex either must both be Faithful or both Traitors, just because mechanically the game is nonsense otherwise.

Admittedly Tom not pointing this out and ranting about his insane skills of reading people  have muddied the waters but it seems like such an obvious point that I can't believe no one has put 2 and 2 together. They're all so confidently incorrect too, like 'guys either 1+1=7 or 2+2=9, those are the only two options'. Then you have Maddy the most clueless person in the game who has accidentally stumbled onto getting one of her guesses right.

Fair play to Amanda, if she reads the room and votes for Ivan then she's played a blinder. If that happens and then they binoff John it's difficult to see how the traitors lose from here.

It really is quite compelling, but stupid, television.

Ep 1: I can't help but feel two of the strongest players got thrown out before the game even began for an unnecessary twist. Feel like getting rid of your strong players immediately is always going to harm this kind of premise :slol:

It at least seemed that way at a glance in terms of sizing people up.

Agreed. A twist they borrowed from Survivor: Palau which saw two players eliminated before the game had begun (albeit different reasoning). Doctor bloke was spot on when he said people looking to hide would wedge themselves in the middle, too.

Up to Ep3 now. Feel like the episode pacing is a bit weird with having the end of day vote and then a discussion about who dies but no actual kill. It doesn't feel like there's as much at stake compared to a survivor tribal council as you already know if they're barking up the wrong tree so it takes the edge off the end of day reveal.

I'm also really wondering if anyone is going to catch on to the breakfast arrival actually giving a lot of game info. As the show production has been leaving the possible suspects to arrive last for the added drama to the viewers. But I wonder if anyone will notice that means the last few arrivals are pretty likely to be innocent as from a production standpoint if there's 4 people left to arrive and we know that 3 of them are traitors then viewers will know who's dead. Maybe that's a bit too meta to though.

Edit: BMX lad is also an absolute wet wipe and I can't wait to see his reaction to the relationship getting revealed. I really hope all three of them stick around purely for that moment.

Going by the cliff-hanging ending last night and finding out who gets banished i think its Anna who has to go because of the lies her and her bf have played on the others. But also Tom is also a fool for saying he can read people when everything he said in yesterday's episode is all rubbish and wrong

Yeah I didn't like that twist either. It would have made more sense if the traitors had already been picked and people were trying not to give anything away.

De Mol Season 9 did something similar but naturally much better:
Just as the 10 contestants were about to leave to start the game they revealed 10 contestants who almost made it through the audition process. They then played a paintball style challenge and if one of the wannabe's made it to the end (actual contestants were defending) they would then take the place of an actual contestant. Rather than it being a random choice everyone was giving it 100% in the challenge, determined to be part of the game.
S10 spoiler:
So the person who got knocked out in S9 before they even started was absolutely gutted. He had said beforehand that he would take being on the show over winning the lottery. Everyone felt so bad for him. In the S9 finale they gave him a holiday and a wooden clock as a consolation prize. In S10 they do a kind of hidden camera prank thing where he thinks he is taking the holiday he won but actually he is going to be a contestant on S10. The clock they gave him a year earlier also contained an exemption hidden inside it!!
