I would say that's about right, barring BID0 pulling off something incredible.

EDIT: Sorry, this post sounded smugger than I intended - all I meant was that the probability of an infected victory was about 70% to begin with, so with double the infections now it should be above 80% I would imagine.

Unless Dan's conspiracy theory was right all along and the only way for either side to win is to lynch me. :shifty:

I feel that you shouldn't have let the thread know anything about the yellow and blue keys. Everyone knew about the red key being destroyed when Edd was lynched but now they know to go after Nun instead of dancing around the idea for a bit. I just want to see them suffer, I guess

Also, I don't know who Quaid or Hauser are in terms of movie references but, from what Moggy wrote, is it right to think that the infected don't want to infect him as doing so will give the humans a big boost?

Another question: if an infected space marine scans an infected, is the result revealed to the thread but the target is not killed by the scan?

I don't know why Cora is so keen to spill his guts to the humans. If he does get infected, he can help them win instead.

I did as well but they started passing the bloody things around again. Half my PM inbox is taken up with either key movements or questions about the bloody keys. :fp:

Both names are from Total Recall (the original and good version of Total Recall). His first role was something the infected wanted to avoid (as it would have activated him) but he is now immune so them trying to infect him would just result in a fail.

Another question: if an infected space marine scans an infected, is the result revealed to the thread but the target is not killed by the scan?

Infected Space Marines are just the opposite of a normal Space Marine. Infected people will be shown as human in the thread, human special roles will be killed.

I don't know why Cora is so keen to spill his guts to the humans. If he does get infected, he can help them win instead.

Oh wow, that's a huge gain for the infected team. So if their scanner scans a fellow infected, the thread at large is told that they're a human player?

Hence why Cora was shown as human.

Edit: Huh, maybe he is still human after all.

That was never made clear to the infected team though and none of them have asked to do it.

If they did try that tactic then yes it would be a huge win for them.

You did actually inform me of that, but I think you were really hungover at the time, so you may not remember. ;)

I think I actually forgot to tell the New Alpha about that, anyway, so the others may well not know. :slol:

I'm not even going to lie to you and insult your intelligence, they took me tonight the strawberry floaters. Really stupid idea - they could've left me uninfected and had days of speculation from the likes of TNAG about whether I'm the alpha or not. Guess I'm a sacrificial lamb.

It was good serving with you all, human scum.

Poor show from Corazon there, I expected him to at least put up a fight. I know when this is made public (or he dies) and he reads this he'll claim he was in an inescapable situation, but still, it's poor sportsmanship to just give up. (No offence intended to him, just my thoughts.)

What the strawberry float could I do? I didn't give away the information I was given but I was dead to rights, arguing the toss would just make me look like a knob. I was always going to die tonight - the infection happened just before someone handed me a key and I was ironically caught out in exactly the same way as I got Nun before.

Incidentally, I'm going to prove that I knew who the new alpha is at the end of the game - I was convinced by two strawberry floaters to suppress it as it wasn't believed that the role he had was negative.
