It was good though, because it turned it into a real 'play'. It would've been lame - understandable, but lame - if you'd just exited like that. I feel you had a real impact by the time you died - or at least, lots of people had stopped and gone, 'what was that all about?'.
At the risk of embarrassing him, you may find it interesting to know that Dan actually never properly joined Team Infected. He was scanned the same evening we infected him. Sorry, Dan!
I have to say, I think this has been one of the best games ever on GRcade. It's a real shame it's quietened down over the last day or two, but the first 5 days were really, really excellent.
It wasn't just me that wanted you dead (which, I'm afraid to have to re-iterate, was the only logical play at that time). And I wasn't infected then, by the way. The only way the humans will win the game is without the infected controlling the vigilantes - which wasn't going to happen after the alphabet theory was proved to be correct, as then everyone knew where they all were! Even if you weren't infected, it was only a matter of time before you would be, which is why scanning you all was fairly pointless. You might pass one scan, but be infected the next day and be just as great a danger!
I don't overly mind dying, but I must admit I found the smug "told you so" posts about me after I died a tad frustrating. I can't figure out how no-one has spotted that I had a vote rig power and never used it - a surefire indicator that I was obviously not infected for the vast majority of my game, as otherwise I'd have surely protected Ironhide, or had an immune killed.
But anyway.
This is the info I had before I died (I was planning on PM-ing this all to you, Karl, but I was killed before I got home.
Parksey - Alien DEAD Ironhide - Alpha DEAD Psychicsykes - Android (claimed) Infected? The re-role has thrown it all up in the air in a way few games we've had have been, there is a tense mix of info out in the open and info only known by a select few which I think is keeping almost everyone interested. It's essentially a race to the finish now - the infected need to pick where in the list to target, but the humans and marines have to second guess them. Can the humans somehow land the alpha in time? It has the potential to be a very exciting run-in.
The person I feel has been most hard-done-by, by the Alphabet Theory scandal, is Ironhide. As soon as it was figured out he was toast and there was absolutely nothing he could do. He didn't do anything to give himself away.

I was infected Thursday evening. So Friday, I'm afraid, I was arguing for Edd to die because it gave Denster the greatest chance of getting a shot off - alas, he didn't make it.
I pushed to infect you that evening, because I thought we'd make a good team.
Like Ironhide, I was doomed as soon as the alphabet thing came out. Due to the time difference, bar a few tentative posts to Cheeky Devlin, I couldn't really do much.
I went to bed and then the whole thing kicked off. I woke up dead the next morning.
