Off to Thailand tonight - two weeks fooling about with my ladyboy in Ao Nang.

Down to Heathrow tonight for an overnight stay, flight is tomorrow (all 12 hours of it). I'm being taken to 'meet the parents' at some point (another inland flight into central Thailand, well off the tourist path) - should be interesting, if tiring. Not the best time of the year to be traipsing around Thailand - still quite rainy. Had to have more shots at the Health Centre to protect against everything from Dengue Fever to Polio. :shock:

You lot behave while I'm gone. I'll be checking in (Thai WiFi permitting) as and when possible. I might even manage to post the odd picture if I can figure it out on my iPad.

Hi everyone - I'm still in Thailand! Loads of pics, but can't share them from my camera as I don't have the iPad camera adapter thingy. Just got back from four days up in northern Thailand in Khon Kaen province (quite literally the only white westerner around the entire time I was there). Back down south now at the coast in AoNang. Temperature today somewhere in the early 30sC. Four more days to go and then back to the UK.

Will file a full report with pics on my return. Mosquitos, power cuts and intermittent wifi. Welcome to Thailand.

Yep, Amy's been with me the whole time (she lying next to me on the sofa as I write this). We're in her apartment in AoNang and I've been in Thailand with her since the 2nd Aug.

We were 'oop North visiting her folks - two plane rides away via Bangkok and back again. 'Remote' doesn't really do it justice. Farming folk, real rustic Thailand few westerners ever get to see, tbh. Parents so generous and kind and thrilled to meet me. Absolutely fascinating to see that side of the country - everyone so welcoming. Amazing.

We have to get something to eat now (7pm)!
