PostBad scenes in movies YOU THINK are great.

Just watched Pulp Fiction and I remembered how awful Tarantino's acting is. :fp: "Don't strawberry floating Jummie me Jules!" Any other actor and it would've been so much better.

Also, having just watched Batman Begins, Batman's invisible batmobile trick, consisting of turning off the lights is just a downright terrible 10 seconds of film. There's a goddamn helicopter spotlight shining right on it and two police cars at either side, but he turns off his lights and everyone's all OMG where'd he go?!?. :fp: Awful.

What other movies do you like that have a really terrible scene that you hate?

I watched that the other day and thought exactly the same thing. It probably wouldn't have looked so bad if he wasn't acting next to Harvey Keitel and the like...

Dark Knight Rises spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it...

Marion Cotillard's death acting :fp: iirc she rolls her eyes and slumps behind a wheel of a vehicle - I remember face palming & shaking my head in the Cinema. Can't wait till the GIF boys get onto this :D

The scene in The Godfather where Sonny beats up what's-his-face. Always makes me cringe.

The bit in LOTR where Legolas slides down the stairs on a strawberry floating shield. Also down the trunk of the Oliphaunt.

Personally it's not a "great" film imo but I know a lot of people love it. I am talking about Dark Knight, and the scene is the ending with the boat with the prisoners and civillians. I strawberry floating hated that whole idea. I found it so poorly done it was more funny than anything else.

I like that bit. It proves Joker wrong as he thinks everyone is bad if pushed and that shows that people are good.

Broadway Melody is an outstanding sequence in the film, classic dance after classic dance, unparallelled set design and rhythm, and Cyd Charisse's legs.

the sex scene in watchmen.

it ends with a jet of flame coming out the flying owl thing, as the dude blows his load.

its long and kinda weirdly done, i don't like it.

The bit in The Dark Knight Rises where Batman where the guy is shooting at Batman in the dark room in the sewer and it causes a strobe light effect as batman dodges and moves closer. Looked utterly stupid and I almost burst out laughing
