It keeps trying to snow in Swansea but because of all the wet and the rain from earlier it's just making a mess. I'd really like to go to town, so it's damn irritating.

...

Last Tuesday was one of the best snow days of my life.

Uni was cancelled because the snow was so thick. Now I live in the student village. You can imagine the chaos of the combination of loads of snow, loads of students and no lectures for anyone.

In the early morning a couple of us got involved in a snowman building competition with a house of strangers behind ours. We lost, but that didn't matter, because everyone's a winner on snowday. It also didn't matter because shortly afterwards a couple of other houses down the way decided to attempt to invade our turf via the art of warfare with snowballs. Battle ensued, snowman builders versus invaders. We decided to fight it like the trenches, digging in to our terrain, hiding behind a conveniently parked truck and a corner of a wall, and bombarding them until we got bored. This was followed by arming up and walking at them in the unfaltering belief we would be fine and that they wouldn't retaliate after all we had put them through. Obviously we took a battering, but that didn't matter because everyone's a winner on snowday. And besides, I hit some ginger kid in the face with a well aimed shot.

There was a far more epic battle later, with forces of twenty to thirty a side fighting over a hill. A load of us stationed ourselves at the top of the hill to sledge down it, when an invading force from the other side of the village began an assault. They attempted a two pronged attack. At the top of the hill are some houses, and behind them is an alley going down the side of the hill. A group of perhaps ten of the enemy ran up this alley to catch us off-guard while their main force attempted to climb the hill. I applaud their tactical approach, this allowed the main body of their army enough time to grab a foothold in the hill, causing chaos within our ranks. I remember one Chinese guy on our side I'd never seen before panicking and charging down the hill with a snowball in each hand. Bloody idiot got absolutely owned, providing both sides with much amusement. Another notable moment was when a Ginsters van passed the bottom of the hill on the way to the Spar, drawing cries of 'strawberry float off Cornwall' from both sides.

I love snow!

Getting some pretty heavy snow here. Looks like I'll have to build another snowman tomorrow.

It's coming down thick and fast, too. :D :D

I ended up having 4 snow days last week, and if it carries on, I'll have another one tomorrow.

No more snow in Sheffield yet, thank god. I'm getting bored of it now.

It's getting heavier now, it's settling on the pavements and driveways! Not on the road though. Boo! In December the snow-covered road became as a playground, it was completely epic and wonderful.

It's strawberry floating settling  If it continues then freezes well overnight I get another day off :D Apparently the head is playing it safe because School was open for 2 hours on Friday which annoyed a few teachers who travelled in the snow only to get sent back.

New PS3 and snow day with any luck.

Christ, it's really coming down outside! Sticking too. Can't take any more impromptu holidays from work though...

I'm in the same position as Skarj, I can't miss Uni and work tomorrow, and it's coming down heavily. I did just get an invite to go and have a snowball fight though, which I might take up...
