That doesn’t come with the move controllers does it?

Cheap Xbox Gold...

Quidco (potential £4)
Search Microsoft
Click through and find 6 months Gold

£12.49... Buy it (can even use Xbox credit if you have it... if you don't then use CD Keys/eBay etc to get cheap credit)

Official Xbox site
Turn off auto renewal

Xbox rewards site (more potential cashback... usually works for me)
Click through the Gold mission to take you back to the Xbox site

Redeem your code
You'll be asked to turn on auto renewal to get a bonus month... do it and you'll actually get 2 months free
Turn off auto renwal

8 months Gold for £12.49 or less

You can buy another 6 months for £12.49 and stack the codes, but you can only get those bonus months the one time.

After seeing this, I arranged to return my full-price one to Amazon and get one from Simply Games and.... the bastards have sent me a V1 headset!

I see they've now removed reference to the V2 headset from their website.

EDIT: And don't Simply Games make it difficult to contact them - just voicemail on the premium-rate phone number and a contact form!

As they're out of stock, I think I'm just going to keep the Amazon one.

Well, I can only apologise for this. I too got burned by this. After (finally) getting some information out of them it seems that a third party said they had some version 2's to supply to them but they sent out V1 stock instead. Quite the strawberry float up. I've sent mine back as well. It's a shame as i've never had any trouble with simply games before in the 5+ years i've been using them but this has pissed me off royally. Sorry for posting a bum deal :/

Was in Tesco over the weekend and noticed some PS4 and Xbox games going cheap:

NBA 2K17
Titanfall 2
Mirror's Edge Catalyst
Prey

All £7 each. Might be worth checking your local for the same deals/other games.

Checked mine and as per usual with these supermarket deals, absolutely nothing.

Mm, guess it depends on the store and what stock they have, etc. If you want any of those games I can have a look and pick one up for you if there's any left. Just let me know.

I’m looking for a 200gb micro SD card for Switch, anyone know where I can get one for a good price? Perhaps using this new Amazon code?

Yep, this Sandisk 200 Gb Micro SDXC card is £63.49 at Amazon (after the ten pound discount), Milner. The card has class 10 speed (ideal for the Switch) and is a decent brand.

That's damned tempting actually.
Even if you're not really planning on going Digital with Switch a big SD card is looking increasingly necessary as publishers opt for cheaper carts and mandatory downloads.

Thanks for the offer, but it was more a general grumble about how those deals are never in any of the big supermarkets near me.

This is my thinking, I’ll be going digital on all Indie style games and physical on the big 1st and 3rd party releases. But with a lot of publishers have big day one downloads, or as with the Bayonetta and Resi evil revelations collections, offering one of the titles on cart and one as a download, this could fill up space rather quickly
