Epic Game Store -

The store will also feature one free game every two weeks throughout 2019. Epic is funding these free releases so you always have something new to come and check out. The first free game will be Subnautica, available from Dec 14th to Dec 27th, followed by Super Meat Boy from Dec 28th to Jan 10th.

Amazing. It must have really tanked sales wise. The whole Skylanders, disney infinity and lego dimension war seems to have really killed off the toys to life genre.

I may now pick this up. I don't know much about it though, i wonder if sales are so poor weather the online element will basically be redundant. Which i assume is it's main appeal.

Also how playable is the game if you don't buy anything more than the starter pack?

There is no online element

I completed the game (30+ hours) using only the starter pack, it's very playable. Helps being on Switch and the starter pack being Fox and an Arwing of course!

Ah right thanks. I always assumed a big part of the game was online. Might pick it up anyway.

I thought I had got a good deal with the Mega Pack last week, but that is a stunning price!

Agreed that is a real bargain. If I wasn’t so poor at the moment (time and money!) I would be snapping that up.

Yoku's Island Express is £7.99 on the eShop. That's an absolute no-brainer and everyone who owns a Switch should dive in right now. It's also a similar price on the PSN so there really is no excuse.

Yep, great game and would be perfect for a Christmas play through.

This really didn't last long.

Had a look today as my Sister-in-law is looking at a PSVR for my brother, and this was already out of stock. There's another Mega Pack still there, but RE7 has been replaced with a Game own brand headset and the price has gone up to £225.

No worries.

Got another one for you if you're feeling flush - West of Loathing. Funniest game I've played in years. In the sale on the eshop.

Agreed. It’s absolutely brilliant. I preferred it to Yoku, but both are excellent and completely different to one another.
